about me
I live with my (awesome)husband, step-daughter(well she moved out but she's here a lot), and dog Bodhi (a.k.a. the Mugwump), and 13 chickens headed up by the unstoppable rooster Zorman. I received a BFA in fine art and a minor in dance, and I have always been walking an artistic path. In college I worked in various media: painting,photography, ceramics and alternative media sculpture. My work today is primarily acrylic painting, but there is always the temptation of the vast and juicy media options for creative expression.
This is the beginning of my post-academic art career; after a few years of working in retail, experiencing Burning Man, festivals, renaissance fairs, and general living, I finally have the courage to leap. I started my one-woman company, Kareli Kairos www.karelikairos.com. I have designed all aspects of the products offered of my original art. I am proud, and excited, and grateful to bring my images out into the world. I sincerely hope they bring joy and beauty.
