Thank you to everyone who attend our Enchanted Garden Party

Wow! I've never had such an easy clean up after a party before. You were all totally awesome.

Thank you all for your incredible costumes. I was delighted that everyone made an effort to get into character when they came to play in our Enchanted Garden. Warrior and I went to great effort to transform our house, thank you for your many words of appreciation. We were delighted that our efforts were appreciated so much.

A special thank you to Ray who brought fabulous hand made masks to share for the evening. He also makes fairy wings. If anyone is interested in buying some, they are truly incredible... check out him out on tribe as Ray C (he can be found under my friends).

Please note that one of the masks he lent out went missing. If you accidentally took it home, please, please contact me so that we can get it back to him.

A big thanks to Waldemar who took some amazing photos. You pics are always fantastic and everyone who got their portrait done, I know joins me in saying thanks for taking time to set up and snap everyone. We can't wait to see the final versions :)

Also, thank you to Ric for coming early, bringing lites and making nachos all night.... to Di and Lovetoy for bringing their fairy burn barrel for the driveway and loaning me the green fairy wall hangings.

Most especially, I want to thank Serafine who came over several times to help design our decorations, staple fabric, and paint our incredible black lite fairy in the downstairs room.

I really appreciate all of you who entered into the spirit of the evening, who brought along drinks and nibbles, who picked up after yourself and others, who spun fire, who drummed, who helped with music when our dj didn't show, who helped string lites and staple tree trunks, who knew how to talk to the cops when they arrived, to everyone who laughed and giggled and had a good time. Thank you all.

As for moop... we had very little... but I've got a peasant style top soft material in brown shades by eye candy in small, a man's tie in pale blue and yellow, a head band with a flower petals along it, a black feather boa and what looks like a hand made ren faire type sleeveless jacket - natural colored lined with green. Also a trader joe's re-usable bag. If any of these items are yours, just let me know and we'll get it back to you.

ArtCar Fest!!!

Hi All,

Just wanted to let everyone know that ArtCar Fest is happening this weekend... it's sponsored by the San Jose Museum of Art... on Friday night the museum is hosting a costume party ($10/person - or arrive early & use the 1/2 price coupon below and spend $5) in honor of artcars... live music and cool art cars INSIDE the museum. Saturday the museum is free... see the cars inside the museum, on the plaza and parked all over the streets... an extremely child friendly event... it's way cool to see so many artcars outside the playa.

The Friday night party should rawk! Here's more info on it & a half price admission coupon if you arrive before 8 pm. Hope to see you there Friday night.

CA is so close to the passage of a same-sex marriage bill. All we need now is the Governor's signature. Though he's threatened to veto it, he HASN'T yet. We need to tell him that the people of CA are for legalizing same-sex marriage. So please call him! It only takes a few seconds.

Call his office at (916) 445-2841 and follow these simple steps. (You don't even have to talk to anyone!) It might be busy, so please try a few times throughout the day until you get through.

2. Press "1" to comment on AB 849 (AB 849 is the gender neutral bill hat will allow same-sex couples to marry)
