uninspired

   Tue, June 3, 2008 - 8:57 AM
I don't know what it is. I've been down and uninspired since coming back from India. I went there to get away from the U.S., hoping to experience a culture untouched and unbothered by materialism, greed, money, etc., where spirituality was real and powerful. But that's not what I found. I found people who wanted to be like Americans, who wanted to have all the "stuff", eat Domino's pizza, commercial pressure to turn from their healthy idlis to cornflakes, god-awful MTV-like music videos, and a spirituality that was much more superstition that heart-felt. I can't get the Love up anymore. I feel I need to be steeled and hard. I see a world gone to hell and nobody cares. I see evil politicians getting away with ripping off the planet and nobody can do anything about it. I feel like blowing things up. Like Hanuman destroyed Lanka.

Hi!
We all experience the weather of discontent, as the sages remind us all comes around;
As encouragement, it's a New Moon today so we'll all feel some substantial 'give' in
getting on with things, also here's a link to 'Free Will Astrology' if you'd like some xtra
catalyst on a more personal basis.

...I think it's pretty key right now and from now to stay clear and motivated from within.
Meaning if we feel daunted by what's happening externally from locally to globally,
it's probably time for a little self nurturing to center. Integration, etc.

It's a delicate balance regardless, we're all in the same boat. Imho we the people
of the planet as far as people go anyway, have taken it back and communications
are now lateral with the 'web'. It's taking time to sort out our common story,
but that's just what it is - common, in the face of *so much* to resolve collectively.
Bottomline being when faced with life/death as we are, we have less and less
time for the b.s.! We seem to be witnessing the flailings of false power structures,
I know it's ridiculous! Which is why comedy is the biggest deliverer of news in
the U.S. now.

So lots more like you out here - in fact a critical mass of us, and we all have our
days. No doubt it's work and will be for a long time to come, but we're here -
I believe - because we're able!

Force (as in, Jedi) be with You/Us~*
Accept, Accept...

you are not alone

I had developed an eye condition and went to see an amazing healer I know and she said it was because I didn't like what I was seeing. I too, was focusing on the darkness all around me in this country and in other countries I had been traveling in. She told me that there is always love and light present, and I need to start seeing it because it is all around me. I took her advice and my eyes healed. When I see people doing unconscious and greedy things, I just remember that that is where they are at in their level of consciousness. Its not easy to be ahead of the game, but that is the path we have chosen as lightworkers. If you cannot see the light and love in these situations...see the potential for love. That is how I do a lot of my healings with people. I see the potential for light in their body, and the density begins to dissipate.

I have been using this quote lately...."Do not focus on the shadows or the chaos around you, for wherever you focus your attention, that is what you magnify."

You are not the only one who is feeling stuff come up. This too shall pass.

PS the book Power vs. Force by Hawkins changed my life and really helped me understand people. The book breaks it down to specific levels of consciousness people are at. I think he said like 98% of humanity lives in negativity. My teacher in Boulder believes only 1% of humanity is awake. 600,000 people. Things are shifting fast, tho and that is what we need to focus on. :)

You can definitely say you've experienced "the real India".

Move past your thought to your awareness and you will be more at rest in "yourself". Your thoughts are NOT you.

you know by the mayan calendar we are in the year of "Destruction" ruled by the lord of darkness 'Tezcatlipoca'...so it's 'Kali' time til Novemeber 13, 2008...social cultures are crashing and burning

then we move into a year of "Flowering" ruled by the goddess of birth - a kinder, gentler year, thank goddess

also today's new moon brings in a string of ten portal days which always ratchets up the intensity...

it's a good day to pray for what you want...

Love and Blessings

I've been feeling similarly lately... the poles are switching and change is eminent . the US is in flux, in chaos, and is destined to become more spiritually centered in the future, since we've been chasing the wealth, many are seeking something other, while the east seems to want more material wealth. perhaps we all find a balance?

for now I rejoice, the new Moon brings new beginnings..

i know what you mean
the first time i went to India I had a similar experience. i had no reverance for this country, but on my return I actually gained some respect for certain aspects of the US. like the politeness of people waiting in line, or a smile from a stranger, the general organization and bureaucracy of this country, of all things!

so many people go to India thinking things are going to be better than wherever they came from.

I had to look really deep within to realize there is no escape. India, US, Europe - they are all flavors of the underlying humanity that exists every where.

such practice, isnt it?
:)
glad you went and discovered what you did. I still love going back - each time is "easier".

love...

Those of us who see through the BS, who aspire for truth and justice and hold higher and more substantial ideals than the materialist culture dictates are still in the minority - certainly in this country and probably worldwide. Sorry to hear of your disillusionment but I cannot contradict it. I have felt less angry and discouraged since I have more or less given up hope in the short term and tried to find a faith in the long range that things will turn around eventually, but I think most people are too addicted to things as they are and too much in denial to even *want* to acknowledge what is wrong and what may be necessary to correct it. Can't force someone to see the facts if they insist on clinging to illusions... I'm not going to try. In some ways I feel like I have given in to a self-centered attitude, but I'm just putting my energy into music and cats and the things that inspire and fulfill me, and turning my back on the whole stinking mess insofar as I can. It's not quite apathy and it's not denial - it's just that I'm not going to piss in the wind or keep beating my head against a wall. I'm expecting the worst and I'm not happy about that, but I feel like humankind has established a collective momentum for destruction that will not be swayed by anything short of a miracle, which no amount of fretting or fussing or ranting and raging on my part is going to bring about. And although I expect the worst, I still allow for the possibility that something unimaginable could come into play and force a positive change in consciousness. And consciousness is where it will all begin and arise from...

Did you find that the Universe
Doesn't care at all?
Did you find that if you don't care
This whole wrong world will fall?
Or have you come by again
To die again?
Try again another time...

And I have to say the only way not to be swallowed is to just be. Change your own world because every little change does have a meaning and does have a reaction.
I so love my little piece of the world. I just do what I can to make it better.
Spirituality is within you not out side of you.

When we finally realize that IT is not out there, then we can begin to understand what is within or as that Kansas girl found out - in our own backyard all the time.

Suggestion - rent the Wizard of Oz and see it with new eyes. Click your heals and come on home.

I had a similar experience when I went to Israel 31 years ago. Was in search of my Jewish identity. Found a spiritual connection within that was inspired by the journey but not dependent on it. Just went back there a couple of weeks ago and found pretty much what you found in India. Luckily I was only there for four days and was just visiting .

The Promised Land is centered in Tipheret. Wish I could find my way there whenever I want. Always a poppy field to crossover it seems.
