"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself."
With less than 2 weeks until the show, we are excitedly putting the final touches on set pieces, polishing our choreographies, and tweaking our tiaras!

about me
"Organizationally, we were committed to a few basic principles:
*Treat everyone with as much respect as he deserves (and no more) *Avoid people who appeal to our vanity or ambition (they always have an angle) *Operate as much as possible apart from the "music scene" (which was never our stomping ground) and *Take no shit from anyone in the process. It meant nothing to us if we were popular or not, of if we sold either a million or no records, so we were invulnerable to ploys by music scene weasels to get us to make mistakes in the name of success. To us, every moment we remained unfettered and in control was a success. We never had a manager. We never had a booking agent. We never had a lawyer. We never took an advance from a record company. We booked our own tours, paid our own bills, made our own mistakes and never had anybody shield us from either the truth or the consequences." ....now that is punk rock philosophy to live by....

While Sina still has not booked my mind warping inertia dance with knives for any of her shows...I still must admit she organizes some of the most creative and entertaining shows I've been lucky enough to see.

i dig sina! she is extremely intelligent, creative and driven. not driven by greed or selfishness but by an internal creative impulse that she can't ignore. she is a dancer's dancer and an artist. she is not afraid of hard work. she is constantly working on developing her technique. she is bursting with ideas. as an event producer she makes it easy for dancers to do their thing. she is all art no bullshit!

Sina is incredibly driven, and very creative.
She is constantly rehearsing, planning, and practicing! She brings a lot of depth and research to all her dances, in addition to her amazing technical dance skills. She puts together great costumes, and is always up for something creative... November 2, 2005
sina is a freaky gazzelle of a woman she out prances any critter to date
snappy dresser snippier wit and is morbid as hell if you need a dancer that can give a room full of people nightmares and yet later become fetish fodder this is your vixen. she makes bad goth music look good too. March 8, 2005
Sina constantly impresses me with her dance. It's not just that she studies her ass off in who knows how many dance classes... she has a gift of grace and a poetry to her movement that speaks to my soul. In other words: dooood, she f**kin rocks!
Still she haunts me, phantomwise
