New Name

<div>Hello, friends. Well, I've succombed to that staple of bellydance culture and have adopted myself a new dancer's name! It helps to have one when you're transforming into that different persona for a performance. So, I took part of my name (mandy) and part of my daughter's name, smooshed them together and changed them around a bit...and wouldn't you know it, there's a name like that which already exists?! Spelled a little different, though. Amania ~ "artist of God"

I believe God can dance (and does, quite frequently) so I think it fits quite nicely. I added the "R" so it will roll off the tongue a little easier. It's pronounced ar-MAH-nee-ah. So, there you go. I'm a new lady!</div>
