From high school disagreements solved with snowballs,
to the magic of Deja Vu' and card tricks that impressed my friends.
We are who we are; dog will hunt.

She sports a laugh that makes my guts hurt and my cheeks (on my face gutter-head) ache. Beautiful artist and wonderful friend! You are one of the friends I would like to have close before the apocalypse.

Life Right Now

Dia de los Muertos - 2008
The third annual Day of the Dead Parade on Alberta
Meet at 30th and Alberta on November 2, All Souls Day
-bring your altars and shrines, paint your face to represent the dead, bring candles, chimes, bells, drums, zills, sounds to raise the dead
We will have several altars that you contribute a memory or object, along the way and we will end at Lotus del Feugo for a short movie about Dia do los Muertos and a burn barrel to burn away your prayers, names of loved ones or anything else that needs releasing.

History:
This ancient holiday began as a day of thanks for the harvest. Over time, it became a time put aside to remember our ancestors and people we love who have died.
The Mexican celebration occurs on November 1 (All Saints' Day) and November 2 (All Souls' Day).
On the first day, relatives put flowers on graveyards then they create an altar in the house. On the altar, they display pictures of the departed, along with favorite loved objects and other mementoes. Then, they spend the rest of day making food that the dead person or persons loved.
On the second day, families have big celebrations at their homes. They serve the food and eat candies shaped like skeletons. Friends stop by and people dance and sing. This is a very happy holiday.
On the third day, the holiday expands to the town. There may be parades and floats and costumed characters. Coffins are carried that have people in them dressed in skeleton outfits.
