about me
I'm from Thorp originally, moved to Port Angeles in 2001. I've been working on getting my AA transfer and should be done this winter or spring. After that I plan to transfer to Western Washington University. I plan to major in Japanese language and culture. Or maybe Linguistics, since that covers multiple languages...
I love singing, though I am not that great at it. I play(ed) the flute, saxophone, tin whistle, and a tiny bit of piano; I am currently working on learning to play the guitar.
I just started belly dancing in March of 2007. I love it. I can't wait to learn more.
I detest Bush. I am against the 'war.' My brother is in the army, so I support the troops, but not the fight itself.
I'm a new mother, I love my son.
I love movies.
I love hanging out with friends.
I love belly dance.

I love you Medea! You are awesome. :) It is hard to tell how awful I might be unless someone video tapes it, lmao! Thank you so much.

Short/mini ruffle skirts
(in Tribal Costuming)
Does anyone know where to find the short little ruffle skirts worn by Bella Fuegas? I think Ashley Bennet from Columbia Alternacirque also wears them. I think you can see it in this video: uk.youtube.com/watch

Tonight was my first performance bellydancing. I made all of my costume, from scratch, except for the belt. It was awesome. We did a turkish drop... Yes, I did one too. It was slow and safe. :D I wish I had gotten some pics, but alas, the only one of me... well I look not so hot. But I will post pics of my costume soon.
Love you Natalie.
:p

Yesterday I finally started work on my pants. I have a gorgeous paisley material; they're going to be so rad.
My top is in the works, too, with help from my friend in the fabrics department at work.
Classes with my friend Natalie are starting tomorrow, and I have not danced in months it seems, so I am excited to start. Finally! Space and peace to dance.
My baby can now say mama, and he started crawling yesterday. :D

I got to go to Seattle yesterday for Mardi's workshop. I got up at 5:30 am, left at 7am, drove till 11 am, waited till noon, worked my tail off at the workshop till 4pm, finally ate a meal, and drove home, getting back at 8:30pm. What a day. But I would do it again in a heartbeat. I wish I could have gone to the second choreo today, but no moneys....
My body is sore, I lost three pounds, and I am going to memorize the rest of the choreography asap.
Thanks to Helenwheels for letting me g...
