If you are going though Hell, try to get out before the Devil knows you are there.
It is now 2008. So many sigh a breath of relief! Things can always be better or always be worse. The thing to hold on to is that things still are one or the other, When they cease to be one or the other the journey is ended.
Once a glass is allowed to fall from your hand the inevidable result is almost unavoidable...but some glasses a doomed to fall no matter how careful you try to be. They do not always break ...or... the pieces can, sometimes, be fused into a piece of beautiful art. Nothing is a total waste.
Take time to understand before you pass Judgement.
Be alert! Good Things come in ALL sized packages. Sometimes the package is wrapped in wrinkled brown paper held together with masking tape, but what can be found inside is a WOW!
Dragons, Mermaids, Faeries, Unicorns, Winged horses, Knights in Armour and Majik Carpets and Genies...today I learned that these things are a fanciful reality that exists at my fingertips...this made me happy! Sheherrazad and 1001 tales opened at my feet and I was able to step in. Life is good.
I met a 70 year old today who thought I was young...as I walked away smiling an 80 year old asked me who my hot young friend was...see its all relative!
Today you are younger than tomorrow, wiser than Yesterday, and still breathing. Wanting more than that is just greedy.
When everything is wonderful...then EVERYTHING IS WONDERFUL...go with it!
Hurt no one and be prepared to dodge. Being a nice adult is its own reward...sweet dreams.
Your creations are your own. Embrace them, claim them, be proud fo them. They represent you and what you have done with your life. Re-creation of your work is a high compliment. See it , smile and know that you have done well.
When what you say and what you do conflict the energy produced is selfconsuming.
Wicked is as wicked does, wicked recieves what wicked gives.
These days physical beauty can be bought.
Spiritual beauty has no price, is of more durable quality, and is more rare therefore more valuable.
Remember your friends when everything is good and and YOU DON"T NEED ANYTHING..

( OMG! I laughed so hard because this is the best example of what happens when you only think you know what your hearing)

The monkey said: 'Monkey tricks for twenty years? That's a pretty long time to perform. How about I give you back ten like the Dog did?'

On the third day, God created the cow and said:
'You must go into the field with the farmer all day long and suffer under the sun, have calves and give milk to support the farmer's family. For this, I will give you a life span of sixty years.'
The cow said: 'That's kind of a tough life you want me to live for sixty years. How about twenty and I'll give back the other forty?'
And God agreed again.
On the fourth day, God created man and said:
'Eat, sleep, play, marry and enjoy your life. For this, I'll give you twenty years.'
But man said: 'Only twenty years? Could you possibly give me my twenty, the forty the cow gave back, the ten the monkey gave back, and the ten the dog gave back; that makes eighty, okay?'
'Okay,' said God, ' You asked for it.'
So that is why for our first twenty years we eat, sleep, play and enjoy ourselves. For the next forty years we slave in the sun to support our family. For the next ten years we do monkey tricks to entertain the grandchildren. And for the last ten years we sit on the front porch and bark at everyone.
Life has now been explained to you.

I Teach and Dance M.E.D. (aka Belly Dance). 30 years I think it is now. OY! Is it any wonder it is a big part of my identity? I teach bellydance, I sew bellydance, I drum bellydance.
I am a Sagitarian...nuff said. I am NORMAL/CRAZY
I love my family, my dog pack, my pride of mini lions. I adore elephants, and I have Faeries sitting on my shoulders.
I am able to spend long periods of time alone in my own company...( I am a good friend of mine) but I also have a ton of great friends that are a fantastic, creative, down to earth people. For me, the more down to earth good fun the better.

A lady who is beyond words..
A lady who has no limit to her soul..

Marijahne is talented, vivacious, full of life and gypsy spirit. She dances from the heart and it is easy to tell all her moves are executed with meaning as she expresses the music. I am thrilled to have her as my new troupe mate and dance sister. She raks!
How about if we put our heads together with some others and try to solve this ongoing dilemma regarding dancers "paying" to dance? It's time to stop griping and brainstorm some real solutions. Here are some of my ideas for the smaller Hafla's.
Let people know the conditions they will be dancing in.Will it be indoors or outdoors? Put it on the flyer. This helps dancers decide how to costume for dancing and the audience how to dress for the event. Everyone is in a better mood when ...

Now it took me awhile to finish this belt. I cut, considered, put it away to work on other immediate costume needs, pulled it out, sewed, had to alter it twice to adjust for wieght loss and gains during the whole "get er du" process then decided to fix it so that I could do my wieght gain and loss yo yo thing without having to make major adjustments. Well mmmmnnnn, this was a good event and a good day.
Fabulous dance talent. Now I know that many of the featured dancers are "friends" but understand if they were not entertaining I would just not mention anything at all. I mention this because they were "on" today. Yasmina herself did a fun Flamenco, Cerice, Madrina, Johanna, Misha and Azeeria as soloists...Students and troupes of each entertained and Madrina's students gave her a surprise dance in her honor...a very touching mom...
