Introducing MariJahne.
I Teach and Dance M.E.D. (aka Belly Dance). I teach bellydance, I sew bellydance, I drum bellydance.

I am a Sag...nuff said. I am able to spend long periods of time alone in my own company...( I am a good friend of mine) but I also spend as much time as I can with a multitude of great people.(ya'll KNOW who you are!)
Air Force Brat, have traveled the U.S.A. Did the Hippi thing, the Flower Child thing, the Biker thing, the Cub Scout thing, Gave a shot at the Yuppi thing (nope, definitely not me) Decided to "screw it all" and do MY OWN thing....Happiest as I am NOW!

I push a shovel into sandy soil, because I am a lady I do not "sweat" I "glisten". Never the less, my body is glistening like a salty river gone wild...It isn't even afternoon yet..but the tomato plants need to be put into ground and I talk to them, as perhaps a mad lady would.

Not Much happening

Pretty much all has been on hold while I dealt with the "family" issues.
HOWEVER...I feel I can get going again.
I have been having students do solo's for new class members, we are progressing nicely in the field of ATS, I am expecting a couple of new students for privates at the studio and best of all...
Drum circles are finding thier way into the new venues.

ITS COLD!

Okay, yes I live in FL and yes I know the cold is "mild" to some places by comparison BUT...I am reacclimated to the heat and now I am COLD! FL cold is different, the Temp reads 47 degrees but the ground is moist and the cold radiates into the depths of your body and doesn't leave.
Once I am cold it is hard to reheat my core. I cannot concentrate, I cannot get motivated, body parts are not fluid in movement. I just want to do as my pride of kitties does ...roll up into bundles on blan... read more
