Socio-politically conscious, considerate, smart, and funny. Mark is a rare brass ring to be caught. A geek extraordinaire, he's got a movie line for every occasion. I count myself lucky for having met him.

about me
I strive to be socially, environmentally and politically conscious. I can be very passionate. Whether it's music, film, politics or food I'm usually not without an opinion on something.
I've always been of the opinion that it's better to have a few close friends than an army of acquaintances. I'm usually pensive and quiet, but I can be quite the conversationalist when called upon. While it may not always show itself, I can have a pretty wry sense of humor.

This might be of interest to the artists out there. It's a little long, but pretty impressive nonetheless.

He's a great actor and the casting was just spot on. I would say the first hour or so of the film rival... read more
Just got back from seeing the new Errol Morris film, Standard Operating Procedure, as part of the SF Film Festival. It's a pretty incredible documentary, as are all of his documentaries. As with all of his films, he is able to balance the presentation of facts with some really beautiful and artful reconstructions. There may be moments where the reconstructions are too beautiful and artsy for some, but I really had no problem with them. While in his earlier film "The Thin Blue Line" he exa...
