stuff to read

I don't know what there is about it; I just love being on stage. Even at this late juncture in my acting career I can't even modesty aside say for sure whether I'm any "good". Pushed to answer this I'm privately sure my acting ability is not so remarkable, but I do love it.

My second show of 2008 opens this Friday, April 18th. It's William Inge's "Bus Stop" and for the first time in a while I'm totally jazzed about being part of not only a timeless play but a stellar cast. I've been encour... read more

Babies always cry when they're born. I've never decided whether it's because they get their butt slapped or because they're blank in a new place with damn little to work with.

No one tagged me, but after months of barely even logging on (8600 BM posts??!), I want a new start. And it's never good form to say just right out loud but I'm depressed as hell today. Collecting all my fours may help.

PARIS (AP) - Marcel Marceau, the master of mime who transformed silence into poetry with lithe gestures and pliant facial expressions that spoke to generations of young and old, has died. He was 84.

Dreamtime so rich last several nights; hardbound scribbling is warranted.

I visited last night so beautiful a place, a real shaman's lair. I don't even know how I happened upon it, but somehow a person I was with knew the owner who was out of town, and i got to spend a few days at this house.

Over the last three or four nights real time, there's been this tiger accompanying me in my dreams: this I remembered inside my dream last night, a tiger and a huge dog as playful masc... read more

I was getting a massage today and the awareness just rushed in, ways to at once prepare for my new year and complete all this I'm bringing into my new year.

But it can't happen if I spend four hours a day leaving my witty narcissism and snarky takes all over your discussion threads.

It's time for some hand-blogs.

I'll answer my phone and my email.
