I feel silly writting a testimonial when you live right next door, I mean, I could just yell "Hey Mary you ROCK!" But I just wanted you to know that I think about you at least once a day... Usually as I'm leaving my apartment... And at that moment I think "God damn, I love that lady!" Knowing that you are just across the hall makes my world a better place...

What can be said about Mary that we don't already know? Hmmm, I know - this woman has meant so much to me that I held my wedding up for her! I wouldn't let anything start until I saw that wonderful red-head walk in the room. Well, the marriage didn't last, but hopefully our friendship did!

When Mary was a tiny, tiny baby, I would hold her in my arms and she would pat my shoulder with her little hand as if to say, "There, there, mommy, it'll all be okay." And you know what? She still has a way of letting me know, "it'll be okay." I've always figured I must have done something right For God to have bestowed this blessing on me. I love you Mary.

Mary is a lovey dovey. So sweet, gives great hugs, and is always ready with a smile and a laugh. I LOVE YOU, MARY!!!!

The best actor in Reno. And I should know, cause I'm the second best! Seriously, I have nothing serious to say about Mary. She's a goddess a loon and a wonderful human being. Whenever I direct a play with a strong woman lead, I always think of Mary. She gives a damn about theatre and people and the cause! She's a great friend who would take a bullet for you... As long as it didn't involve a lot of bleeding.

about me
I think I put all my information in the interests. Typical of me. I'm adopted, love vintage in clothes, furniture, et al. I get excited about teaching and working with Improv, am a huge fan of Second City, Mad TV, old Saturday Night Live, Mike Nichols/Elaine May sketches, I am one of the few who loved "The Village" (with it's Utopian, back to basics bend) would probably stalk William Shakespeare were he alive today.

You could spend hours and hours here. Get the wine! Fabulous information. Funny. Disturbing. Right up ye ole alley!
It was a beautiful summer in 1990 that I first read The Watchman. My friend Mark Minshew shared it with me. He was always expanding my mental and musical library while being a dear friend. ( I miss him. Where are you Mark Minshew?) I curled up on my couch at my old stone house. (How I loved that house, where the children played and so did we.) I put on the new Ivan Neville album (there's a sleeper) and while Ivan provided the soundtrack, I was completely absorbed in this wonderful gra...

It has been my hope that by keeping in touch with our legislatures, especially during this time of session, decision and policy making, and generally creating new laws and burying the old ones, that my notes of request to support arts funding wouldn't fall on deaf ears. Quite the contrary - I recieved a letter back from Senator John Ensign telling me all about why he can't support NEA funding. I have included it in this blog so that I can share it with anyone who may be of voting inclinatio...

Since this play has been creating such interesting debate, I have been following it with eagerness in hopes that we (I) are aware and brave enough as human beings to support the re-telling of such a young passionate woman. www.thestar.com/NASApp/cs/ContentServer Her memorial website: www.rachelcorrie.org/
