How is it that all these years of knowing Marzy I am just now sitting down to write a testimonial?

I've been plotting and scheming several things lately...in case anyone is interested in the same things gimme a holla!
I just joined www.sew-op.net (denver/boulder group) in order to network & gather with like-minded sewing ppl. We had a first meeting & now we are going to DO...first working day is Sunday Feb 15 at 2pm...bring something that you can either mend or are hand-sewing...this will be the low-tech S.O.

This was in the works before the baby birdie died....
I have a new Pomeranian Puppy named STELLA! She's from the Colorado Pekingese-Pomeranian Rescue and is 10 1/2 months old...Yay!

I opened the nestbox on Tuesday morning Nov 27 and baby birdie was not alive. s/he died sometime between 10pm monday nite and 7am tuesday morning...don't know what happened. s/he almost made it to 12 days old. what a disappointment to lose the little one, but also a huge lesson and experience watching how much it grew and changed from day to day. really...when I came home after work, it looked completely different than when i had checked it out that same morning.
