If you don't go and vote, then kiss health care reform good-bye! You can also kiss good-bye any chance of Don't Ask, Don't Tell getting repealed or marrying the same sex partner you love! And voted in will be these lunatics who will cut off everything Obama has worked for and may even set the seeds to created their dream of a theocratic America. And that would be similar to what Hitler did.

Back From Vacation

Just a quick one to let you know I am back from vacation. During the trip, my laptop took a dive and I was not able to contact anyone. Got home late on Saturday and got around to reloading my PC late last night. Had to start over with loading software and looking for link but all is going well. Had a great time everywhere and was lucky not to get caught in the storms that rocked NC and other parts of the Southeast!

And how have things been for the rest of you guys?

Hey gang, just letting you know it's my birthday. Today, I turned 47. I'm three years away from turning 50...I can't wait. It'll be a quiet celebration as I have worked my ass of working on a project. You all have a nice day and that is all the gift I need.

In a 5-4 decision in April 2009, the Supreme Court held in a 5-4 decision that the Federal Communications Commission was within its legal authority to craft a policy punishing broadcasters for "fleeting expletives" -- those accidental, unscripted moments which make live programming so much fun, like when Nicole Richie said at the 2003 Billboard Awards: “Why do they even call it ‘The Simple Life?’ Have you ever tried to get cow s*** out of a Prada purse? It’s not so f***ing simple," when the Phillies' Chase Utley spoke at the end of the 2008 World Series parade or this beloved one from July 13, 1985 from a saucy Michigander in the early stages of her career.

The Court that day ruled that the FCC could have such a policy, but passed on whether the particular policy enacted was constitutional, remanding that issue for further consideration. In an opinion issued this past Tuesday, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit found the FCC's policy to be unconstitutionally vague and struck it down.

My Desktop Is Up And Running Again and Rain Wahes Away The Pollen

And next week I'll be online using it to do some serious blogging and work on my website. I am so happy. after a few days of teasing, it has finally decided to rain in my area. And a good thing too since we have been suffering with oak pollen. A previous blog I wrote here talked about cedar pollen and how it poofs. Well so does oak pollen and it has been poofing since mid March! It also leaves a nasty yellowish stain that sticks on your driveway, and on you car. Apparently, the rise of oak pollen is all over the US and the doctor offices and ERs are full of patients seeking relief. Allergy meds have been flying off the shelves, and several people with immunity issues have been hospitalized in serious condition. And those who clean up are overtiming with the vacuem cleaner. I know because I had to beat out the HEPA filter in mine!

OK, I am back!!!

I was taking a short sabbatical to do the most horrid of jobs.....SPRING CLEANING!!! And it's not over yet!!!! I am in the last days of cleaning the disaster I call a bedroom. I now have a decent computer desk and I got my old printer set up again. Now all I need to do is get a new optical drive and a modem (Yes I am on dial-up as DSL/Broadband is still out of reach price wise). Until then, I make do with what I have.

A Short Sabbatical From Tribe.

Hey everyone;

I'm taking a short leave from some of my online activities for a while. It's time for us to get things back in order now that spring is coming. Plus i will be doing a major upgrade on my desktop PC and will be using it more than my laptop to redo my thong site and other things as well. I'll check mail here from time to time and will will leave some updates on my life. Anyway, you guys take care of yourselves and each other.

It's Snowing Here In Central Texas!!!

Yup, it's snowing here as I sit and blog this. Last time we had snow was Valentine's Day 2004. We kept an icicle in the freezer from that time ans it's still in the freezer today. If some form tonight, then I will snap a few more off and save it until the summer so we can put it in our lemonade. Unlike the snows in the Northeast, this snow will not last since the ground is warm and will melt it rapidly. Nothing will be left but wet ground and some nasty ice patches (YUCK!).

Thirteen Years...And We're Still Together.

This weekend, my lover and I met on a cold February night thirteen years ago. Like last night, it was on a Saturday night. I was going to an event with friends but we changed plans after finding out that the door tickets to that event cost more than expected. So we wound up at our local leather/fetish bar Chain Drive. It was there that I met the vision of strenght and power who would in less than four months be my lover. And they say you can't fall in love after meeting in a bar!

All through the years, we've had our trials and tribulations from my hip surgeries to his heart bypass. We've been there for each other through great times and sad times. We've even had verbal spats about things, but we've also had extensive intelligent conservations about matters from science to politics, to religion, to sex. We've traveled to places that held wonder and amazement for us and even lived in another state for a time. My father and his family has accepted him, and his brother has treated me very well.

I am glad that I met him. I am glad that he fought for me. An I am glad that we both managed to capture each other's hearts.
