They are tags and clues picked by the Submissives at Master's Den that help start negotiation. A submissive choses a card or cards to wear.
Because the Master's Den is a series of parties the events of one party lead into the next. For example, the Den Dollars gathered at Casino in November 2007 carry over to the next event which is Auction in Febuary of 2008. The money spent and earned at Auction carries over to Revelry and so on.

I would like to thank all of the volunteers and staff (no less than 13 at any time) without whom MD Events would not happen. Revelry 07 was a good time, but it did seem a bit emptier than normal. This happened in August 2006 as well. I think it is because I scheduled MD too close to Burning Man. So I have moved next years already (please note the schedule below). We strive to make MD Events a safe & respectful environment through pre-classes, volunteers at the events, ema... read more

Master's Den Auction was a wonderful experience to witness. So many new experiences and many returning guests to our house. Thanks to all of the ladies who bravely auctioned themselves at Master's Den and to all those who bought them. All of volunteers and attendees and the SF Citadel Family who made is possible.

Events like this can only be a success if the participants are responsible for themselves and each other. I feel we are creating a community at Master's Den. A community I hope i... read more

Unfortunately, there's only so much Stefanos to go around. When on duty, he takes almost no time for personal hobnobbing, and spends the bulk of his time facilitating, introducing, riding herd, problem-solving, et al. He addresses the gap by constantly attempting to get "veterans" involved in various roles, including DMs, Den Mothers, high-public-contact volunteer roles, et cetera. FWIW, we think Stefanos does a PHENOMENAL job in return for very little personal reward.
On top of the above, we've found his endeavors (at MD and elsewhere) to be HUGELY inclusive; we've never seen him cater to a specific "private" or style of group. He is the definition of "asset to the community!" May 29, 2007
I was really nervious about going to the Master's Den. Not only was I going to be up for auction, but I'm very new to the world of BDSM. I had only gone to two Citadel events and attended The Power Exchange before. This was a very big step for me and I'm truly happy that I took it.
The event was really relaxed and I found it extremely easy to talk to people. When I visited the Citadel prior I felt lost and out of place but putting myself up for auction helped me open up and feel a real sense of direction. I recommend this event for anyone who is new or might be shy. The people are extremely nice and the event is nothing less than memorable. I'm definitly putting myself up for auction next time around! My first Master's Den was this weekend. Words cannot explain the experience I had.
THANK YOU SOO MUCH!! I was sold to & beaten by total strangers for the first time ever! I had the time of my life! I've never felt so utterly devoted & submissive to my Master. Thank you for the opportunity to more deeply explore my submission. The atmosphere of the event was so safe and comfortable that I easily fell into sub space - so deeply as to even let tears flow. Thank you, Maestro Stefanos, for putting such a much-needed and loved event on. I hope to see all of your lovely faces again at the next event. I cannot thank you enough!! November 20, 2006
Masters Den is a wonderful safe place to explore and be in submission. I love MD and always look forward to the next one. Maestro Stefanos, Chey, August and all the volunteers who's work help create the space make it an invaluable place to want to be, learn and play in. Thank You so much!
In Love and Gratitude~Kristina November 18, 2006
A great party, with a wonderful community behind it. The friendly Den Mothers are always available for support or "pimpin' you out", the scenes are always hot hot HOT, and the energy couldn't be better. :-)
