Greetings All, I would like to thank all of the volunteers and staff (no less than 13 at any time) without whom MD Events would not happen. Revelry 07 was a good time, but it did seem a bit emptier than normal. This happened in August 2006 as well. I think it is because I scheduled MD too close to Burning Man. So I have moved next years already (please note the schedule below). We strive to make MD Events a safe & respectful environment through pre-classes, volunteers at the events, emails, tribe.net postings and personal communications. I hope we have proved to have achieved this since our beginnings in 2005. So, I would like to invite everyone to help the events grow by communicating your experiences of learning, exploring, & socializing at Master's Den to new and old friends so we can add to our great community. Many guests have continued to ask about the Den Dollars. So I will add a few words about how to earn them from The Master's Den, their purpose and use. Many people have fantasies about being bought or sold or buying and selling a submissive. The Den Dollars provide this fantasy and can provide a faux-income at MD events. Attending each event does not earn you more money as a dominant per say, but pre-events will earn you 500 for listening to us tell you about and given you tips on MD. Also, you can earn 500 by volunteering (or your submissive) for an hour and paying to enter, and lastly Maestro Stefanos will pay you for playing with single submissives. After all, single submissives are protected by the Maestro and I would love you both to tell me about the great time you had together. More importantly people ask what to do with the money at Revelry & Casino; Auction is pretty obvious to us all. Well, consider using the money to bet on games that you create (service, human ping pong, how many people will use the objectification girls ...). Have your submissive or talk a single submissive into being auctioned at Revelry and/or Casino and keep the money for yourself. I'll gladly help if you don't want to Auction her. Play black jack at Casino. Contribute to the atmosphere of D/s and shamelessly ask me for Den Dollars for your efforts. Loan Den Dollars for services or interest to other dominants (some of you have the Den Dollars to do it). But first and for most remember this is an event to socialize, learn & explore with other dominants and submissives. The money is a fantasy aspect that I added. The Auction does not have to be your focus. Many people come to Auction for the first time and find themselves at a disadvantage because many of you have been coming since the beginning. Encourage new attendees to come more often to earn more Den Dollars. Den Dollar allocation for the night of Master's Den: Auction is not fair in the since that everybody is always on equal footing. Everybody was once equal, now things are favorable to those who are here the most. There are plenty of ways to catch up and pass the average attendee. 500 for your first MD, 500 for pre-events, 500 for volunteering and paying, Casino night, playing with single submissives & contributing to atmosphere can set you apart quickly. About the submissives and dominants at MD Events --- Remember socializing is more than talking; create networks of friends for future play dates at MD or otherwise. Exploring is meeting new people & seeing what fun you can create out of the event with each other. Learn new skills from other dominants and submissives about their visions of D/s and S/M. We welcome all levels of experience so some submissives and dominants are more knowledgeable then others. Talk to them and share your experiences to elevate us all. MD does have a baseline protocol that we respect collars and previous negotiations between groups (2 or more people), Maestro Stefanos protects all single submissives and we insist on respect between all attendees. The Cards and check-in services: Some previous attendees have asked about these. Upon entering MD events the dominants and submissives are asked to check-in at different areas. The dominants check-in from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM to receive their Den Dollars and give their email contact information (to receive promo info). The submissives are sent to the submissives den to give their email contact information (to receive promo info). To be asked if they are up for public service & play. If they chose to do so then they are given a card(s) to indicate what they willing to submit for negotiations. No one is forced to do this, see baseline protocols above. The cards have the following meanings and are meant as an ice-breaker for negotiations, not a hard and fast rule. Queen of Clubs: The woman is willing to submit to negotiations about S/M and Bondage. Queen of Hearts: The woman is wiling to submit to negotiations about Sexual Service, Queen of Diamonds: The woman is wiling to submit to negotiations about Service. Queen of Spades: The woman is wiling to submit to negotiations about Sexual Service, Service and S/M & Bondage. A Women without a card is not up for public negotiations and is there to socialize, learn & explore without play. A collared submissive may wear the cards and write to negotiate with their dominant should their relationship require it. These services are offered to help dominants and submissives to meet and enjoy the event to its fullest. ~The Submissive's Den: This area is provided to offer a safe haven for single submissives. Often a dominant is a safe haven, but single submissive do not have this so the Submissive Den is there for them. Collared submissives may use it as well. We offer a private bathroom, water, chocolates and socialization. A Den Mother is always present to assist these submissives. ~Den Mothers: A group of female Volunteers who provide guidance to the party attendees. They provide emotional support, matchmaking, and help the Maestro to run a safe party. They are identified by the Red Rose they wear. ~Den Masters: A group of male volunteer who provide guidance to the party attendees. They provide emotional support, matchmaking and the help the Maestro to run a safe party. They are identified by the Red Carnation they wear. ~The Maestro: Stefanos, the man who hosts, guides & Emcees the party with the help of many. He in the Master of none but his domain, The Master's Den. ~Both Den Masters and Den Mothers are the hands, eyes and ears of The Master's Den and The Maestro. ~Master's Den Series: *Revelry: A formless MD Event that starts the series of three that is Master's Den. We often have contests with prizes to showcase the submissives. Service Contest, Postures and Master Says are some of the contest we may have. *Casino: An event that features a full service blackjack table that uses Den Dollars as the main focus. Master's Den Auction was a wonderful experience to witness. So many new experiences and many returning guests to our house. Thanks to all of the ladies who bravely auctioned themselves at Master's Den and to all those who bought them. All of volunteers and attendees and the SF Citadel Family who made is possible. Events like this can only be a success if the participants are responsible for themselves and each other. I feel we are creating a community at Master's Den. A community I hope is carrying over into the larger scene and world. It formed because of an event, but the community's continuation is all in you. I have seen the changes and I like what is forming. Greetings, I want to thank you for your support, attendance or consideration of Master's Den Events past and present. It has been through you support that Master's Den has prospered and become the community and event it is. I get many emails and tribe messages every week thanking me for the time I put into this event. I want all of you to know that many people are behind this production. It is the brain child of August Knight from the Sf Citadel and many other volunteers who put in an enormous amount of time and energy in between events. Thanks to the Master's Den community. I am humbled by your positive words. The well wishing of so many is exhilarating. I would love to thank the massive number of volunteers, promoters, attendees and people who put in a tremendous amount of thought, energy and work to make Master's Den what is. The Den Mothers (women with red roses), The Den Masters (the men with red or white carnations), The kitchen servers, the cashiers, the door/locker attendants, the clean-up crew, the DM's, the objects & the attendees are the reason the event takes off and is a success. I saw so many wonderful scenes and powerful interactions. I spoke to nearly everybody, I hope, and many people told me that the crowd was fabulous. I could not agree more. Based on the initial count there was about an 80% return of previous Master's Den attendees. To me, this is important, Master's Den is creating its own community. Soon we will have friends become family. When that happens, I think we the party dynamic will shift to something far more intense and deep. I think we are well on our way to breaking into the realm of deeper submission and stronger domination for some of our Master's Den members. MD Events History

MD Events history: In 2005, August Knight of the SF Citadel asked me if I would be interested in hosting a party called Master’s Den, a heterosexual styled party for male & male identified dominants & female and female identified submissives. After some thought, I said yes. I gathered my fantasies and others I read and came up with the idea of celebration and socialization as central themes. I added a monetary system in preparation for an auction to reward those dominants that enhance the atmosphere & to value those submissives who also enhance the atmosphere. I developed a serial style for the parties to allow a core group of attendees to gather value and currency (both paper and action based); the value and currencies could carry from party to party. An event of this nature comes with many complications, stigmas and expectations. MD Events require a mass amount of volunteers (x3 the normal party). I hoped for an event where regulars would emerge (dominants and submissives) who would know each other and build trust to that effect. MD events are an opportunity to experience submission and to give and receive this intense gift. I wanted to have a celebration of respect and trust with honor and integrity among the attendees. I wanted to have a place for submissives and dominants to come and feel free to interact without fear of exploitation. In order to create this environment, the MD events needed rules or guidelines at a minimum. Yet, I did not want to stifle the guests with needless regulations so I set up themes to help with this lack of structure. The first was Revelry, a meticulously planned chaos. Of course as chaos goes it snowballed and the situation called for more help to execute such an event, yet the event went off mostly as planned. Before the second MD Event Casino, I asked for help and more men and women then I needed came forward to offer suggestions and help. Casino is a celebration of sexual activity and service. The plan worked better then I could have hoped. It also allowed for a vast increase in the monetary system and exceptional opportunities for service and play. It was at Casino where the card tags for submissives came into play. Labeling submissives for general service and play is now a central draw for safety, respect and integrity. The MD Events recently culminated into the long awaited Auction. Only sixteen of our female attendees went to the auction block, but they enjoyed the experience. Moreover, the monetary system worked out better then I thought. One half of the submissives sold within the boundaries of awarded monies; one-quarter sold within the boundaries of awarded and earned monies and the remaining one-quarter sold above those boundaries. We are looking forward to many more events and much more community involvement.

1) Respect = maintaining boundaries through a respectful approach and carry this example to each party even those that are not Master's Den events. 2) Play your cards = submissives with queen cards are available for public play within the confines indicated. A submissive with a queen is not necessarily single. Introduce yourself to the submissive's dominant. 3) Want to play = Use the queens to start an evening or short play session. They are here to play and so are you. 4) Den Dollars = The play money used for each auction. The next auction is May 07. A new dominant recieves 500 Den Dollars to start. The money can be used before the auction to encourage other dominants. You can earn extra Den Dollars by gambling, adding to the atmosphere of the party through play, entertaining the single submissives (bring them to me after play, helping out, paying and volunteering. 5) Can't have just one = Master's Den is a serial event. Meaning each event is connected & all Den Dollars & value pass on to the next event. Think of these events as a never ending scene.

You will build your reputation from this starting point. Throughout the evening you will have opportunities to earn prizes and more value through contests, service and scenes. The Master’s Den will have an auction where dominants may buy the right to negotiate with you for a scene. The Masters of Exchange will note your contributions to the atmosphere of submission, and the information will increase you value for the auction. In the lower level of the SF Citadel is a curtained area where you may relax and freshen up. I will provide you with an atmosphere of security and comfort in this area. Please keep your voices down and know that the only men allowed in the area are Phil of the SF Citadel staff and I. chey, the Den Primary Submissive and many Den Mothers will be available to answer questions about the event. Of course you can ask me questions as well. Below are some rules and terms used throughout the events. *No submissive, unless negotiated, is property of or in service to anyone. *Each dominant will ask before touching a submissive unless you are marked otherwise. *Negotiation forms are available for your use at the front desk and in the lower level curtained area. *All Judges for contests will be randomly chosen from the attending masters. *Judges may be subject to bribes and services before a contest occurs. *Den Pride: Single or unaccompanied submissives marked with a blue ribbon collar. *Are not Den property or in service to the Den, unless negotiated with me. *Are encouraged to serve The Den Pride for additional benefits. *Have a value to the Den. *Are not required to be a Citadel or Master’s Den volunteer. *Will be rewarded and protected for service to and for The Den. *Membership in the Den Pride is voluntary, but encouraged. Information for submissives: This lengthy contest is about submission and service. If you choose to participate, for the two-hour period of this contest (or for as long as you choose to continue) you will wear a cloth bag on a ribbon around your neck. The Dominants who choose to participate will have tokens that they can place in your bag as a reward for services or submissive displays. By participating in the contest, you are consenting to being asked (by any of the Dominants present) to fetch items or food, give a massage, serve as a footrest, present yourself in various positions, etc. However, you may decline any request respectfully (“I apologize that I am unable to comply with that request”), and will not penalized for doing so. Your safewords and limits apply. If your dominant has a certain set of protocols he wishes you to follow, they are absolutely preemptive. By participating in this contest (as marked by the token bag around your neck), you are also giving permission to be lightly touched on your head, back, shoulders, and arms (you may be asked if you can be touched elsewhere, and can decline or accept as you please). If you choose to incorporate a level of sexuality or pain in your submission, you may and should use your negotiation forms and tags. However, you are not required to do so.
