self/un employeed

its official. as of Nov 6th I will no longer work at the hospital.

So after that (or even before, I can take pre orders) if you guys need any wicks let me know.

Im also gonna be trying to get as many gigs as I can..

Stilt walking, Juggling, Spinning (flags, poi, fire), hooping, clowning, anything I need to do.

Im VERY excited, but scared at the same time.

tough times.

My real job is coming to a close and I need a way of supporting myself. Im excited about being at home more but worried about money (like you do).

Im gonna try to get back on my feet selling wicks again. Im also gonna try to start working gigs spinning and juggling and stilt walking and such.

I also might be making really nifty hats (tams, beanies, whatever you know them by) that are my favorite for when it gets cold (and would also be great for the colder burn events). I haven't set a... read more

wow. what a friday

So I might be looking for a new job soon. I really want out of this place. This morning my boss had a meeting and they told her to pack her stuff that her position has been eliminated. After like 17 years here as a Director, they just fire her like that. No notice or anything. Just 'its your last day'. I almost walked out. I'm scared they are going to do that to my mom too (shes a director for a differant department) and if they do I will no longer work her for moral reasons. I would like to... read more
