Congratulations to Matt on his CD release! I enjoyed his release concert at 21 Grand with the noir lighting provided by a single row of track lights. Two guest performers rustled and clattered and chimed and bent pitches, and then Matt took the floor with his rig. I hadn't heard him play a solo set before and I sure didn't expect those sounds to come out of that drum machine. :)

I don't know if Matt mentioned this, but he's a great fan of punch and pie. Seriously, Matt gives credibility to the creative artist in the bay area music / sound art "scene" due to his earnest intelligence and playfull demeanor. He's got this inner-heckler that needs to be released, though. Ask him about it.
