well i met a girl that i like but she likes a guy who plays the accordion she's got big brown eyes and the brightest smile but she likes a guy who plays the accordion if we could only talk in emoticons i'd be frowning from morning till night you know i thought everything was going alright we were dancing we were vibe-ing sending texts and emails and talking late on the phone but when i went to kiss her lips she said she liked someone else i really wish she would paint me into her picture but you can't hurry what's not yet there so now i just sleep around and write songs to get me through my days i just wanna play her squeezebox but she just wants to be friends and to be completely honest like i always am that dude is pretty good on the accordion

THE KITCHEN SYNC REVIVAL IS. . . inspired by the urgency of our times, a young filmmaker brings together a cast and crew of his friends and says, “hey kids, let’s put on a show!” this show is the kitchen sync revival. the kitchen sync revival follows the adventures of the young filmmaker and his friends as they struggle to put on a scripted 3 camera variety show called “the kitchen sync revival”. this show is a send up of timeless and timely entertainment from vaudeville, the golden age of cinema, sitcoms of the 1980’s and this morning’s headlines. this classic material is recycled and remixed into a refreshing romp and resold to a global audience of fellow kids ages 8-80, either seeing it for the first time. . . or for the first time in years. along the way they will encounter musical guests of myriad styles, guest stars from the contemporary counter-culture and surprising and controversial visitors from mainstream popular culture. through this experience they learn where we came from and where we might be able to go from here.

first and foremost, i am a poet. my blood drips ink into tattered pocket notebooks. and for 18 years many muses have whispered mystical songs. but it's been awhile since i've written something i liked. it's a process. a practice in persistence. it builds up and you can feel it inside until it's ready to go until it's ready to flow . . . "hot buttered rum remixed" i'm cool as ice cream and your hot like rum butter let's get 2getha and read "where did i come from?" 8bit to 16 this is a new genesis in the beginning was the word and it was good but somewhere along the way we got dizzy and disordered flying on a rock that is spinning through space some people choose confusion and just aren't very nice their actions spoil others spreading like frog afro lice infected minds bite blind sucking on some blood for cash the rash of avarice itches till it scabs from the scratch but those lone wolf rhymes are over this is our moment this is our time it's up to us to do it right we are the ones that we've been waitin for mindbombin the bass with an inner-face that's underground and upgraded with the rays of ra we b livin from our hearts and with integrity cuz pachamama is in the pangs of a pregnancy the veil is being lifted the doors are blowing open forgotten rooms revealed ancient secrets are unsealed and in the whisper of the winds and the dance of the trees lies a rhythm unremembered but it still can move your knees it trickles down to your toes and up into your hips starts a tickle in your spine electric finger tips and you start to feel alright and you smile at the scene cuz you know the simple secret that love is supreme

what a tremendous joy and honor it is to be offering a meditation workshop @ LIB for the 3rd year in a row! this is such a special gathering. the beautiful and amazing collection of souls who come together to dance, play, work, share, heal and LOVE in the forest is simply awe-inspiring and tear-jerking and makes me realize what a special generation we are. i can't wait! my workshop is @ 10am on Saturday and Sunday. and some of my film and video work will be showcased at the film festival taking place from midnight to 2am on saturday nite at the renegade drive in movie theater. big UPS and many thanks to the do lab fam for all their efforts. see ya in da forest yo! i woke up late and had dishes to do but i wanted to write a poem cuz i wanted to april is ending was it just a dream? did all that really just happen? yes it did. and what was once just a dream is now on my screen and underneath my bed it's in my pours my toes and my cells seeped into my skin muscle memories lights, camera, action this is real cuz you make it that way and there is a lot of work to do but it's the work you want to do and when you look all around and see your peers and comrades sisters and brothers daring to live their dreams into reality when you follow your dreams wholeheartedly and dedicate all your days suddenly everyone else around you is doing it too and doing it with focus, determination, passion and grace. so rest when you are weary and smile at the sun. it won't be like this forever but right now is never gonna end. :>
