my experience with matty may seem superficial to some, but to me its can be nothing more than poetic. music flows from his very poors, seeps into every soul, touches every heart. if you assume you can feel nothing, listen to an excerpt from matty v. father time. he can take your very best moment and make it seem an eternity. you can live a lifetime in only a few sentences from the heart that beats from within him. thank you, matty v. you are beautiful in every essence of the word and more than anyone could ever know.

My first real memory of MattyV is out on the Land, sitting around a wild bonfire with the wind tickling my ears, listening to this man play and play and play. Twas a magic time, stuck between starlight, moonset and enroaching day. Sharing a camp at this years Burn, he was a better friend than he knew. By triumphing over his own fears, he didn't leave any room for me to succumb to my own. The Man was burning, the music wailing from 10,000 competing mutant vehicles and I was dissolving into myself in the terrifying face of 50,000 strangers, compassless, lost... and discovered that in my solitude...I was not alone, no longer scared, no longer needing any feet but my own to guide me. I drew a deep breath, blew it out in a kiss to MattyV (wherever he was), and danced my own dance, danced my own story, and the ending was many things ever after. Thanks Matty...I owe you one ;)

This guy rides the cutting edge of mojo. With a deft touch he feels for the soul. So glad you found us, or we found you. Your currency is in the delight of it, playing those strings by the firelight of it. Matt, you are the epitome "get on the bus yall, everyone on board cause the bus is taking off. Good thing we brought some rope!" Whenever you're around i know there are good times to be had. You carry that with you, its a great badge to have.
