Pull The String
This year marked my 7th pilgrimage to the playa, and the first time for my spouse, Patty (aka "Shenpa"). She embraced the experience wholeheartedly, and after a couple of days' adjustment she took to the desert like a fish to water, so to speak. I had to laugh and pedal hard to keep up once she hit the open playa at night on her brightly-lit furry bike. :) (The only casualty was when she fell off the bike and landed on a metal drinking cup attached to her belt, and made a bruise on her hip so...
