Well, I was able to get approved a new seahorse exhibit at work!!! I'm so excited. I've found 3 species of seahorses that are found in the south east! So we're getting all three! One is a dwarf species...at the most they'll grow to about 1 1/2 to 2 inches long. They're soooo cute. The other two are larger species, growing to about 5-7 inches long. I'm so excited! We're also getting sandhill cranes too that I"m also in charge of! Woo hoo!

Well after a bit of a hiatus, my desire for dancing has come back. Yay! I'm working with a friend of mine in getting my website fixed up. She's helping me with the wording and such to make it sound better and more marketable. I checked into possibly putting an add in our local paper but it's so expensive. I'll have to find other ways to advertise my classes and performances. Any suggestions?

We're going to be getting a pair of Florida Sandhill Cranes at work! I'm excited! They're beautiful, majestic and the male even has attitude. I love animals with attitude. We're working on figuring out where we want to put them and then we'll procure them! Their names are Frazier and Lillith.

I'm so excited, my cat finally showed up on my doorstep! She was alitle freaked out at first, like she was dying to be petted but was afraid to come to me or my husband. When I left her alone, she promptly became velcroed to my side. Everytime I got up to go into another room she followed me. She was so cute. She looks good too but was really thirsty. I'm glad she is home safe!

Okay so I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself today. Since the cat disappeared I started my cycle AND I caught a nasty cold. Left work early yesterday and only went in a half hour today. I hate feeling this sick, it sucks! And meds that I take to make the ache go away leave me feeling high, and a not good high. More like everything is too bright and weird looking high. wah wah wah. Okay I'll shut up the whining now. On a good note my baby boa is growing fast. She's almost twice as thick as she was when I got her and she grew 2.5 inches. She's due to shed again in the next week or two. I just wish she was more active snake. She really likes her hides. But then again a restless snake is an unhappy snake. I'm going to wait until my birthday in April to add to my snake collection. I think it will end up being a ball python. I'm still in the debating process but I'm leaning towards them. A friend mentioned a borneo blood python which look awesome, but I need to get an idea of price ranges for those snakes. But I'll definitly keep you all updated as I add to my collection.

I was doing so well then my cat disappeared. She's the one that had snuck out before but we found her right away in my husbands car. We realized she was gone late yesterday evening. We realized we hadn't seen her all afternoon. I went out looking for her but saw no signs of her. She's front declawed so I'm worried about her safety. She's an indoor cat and I worry she won't know how to find her way back to our house. I'm so depressed now...she was "my" cat. I'm afraid I'll never see her again.

So I recently got sucked into the World of Warcraft addiction. I got a trial membership for like 2 bucks and have played it one time. I'm getting used to the interface, but I set aside yesterday to make a character and play. Unfortunatley their system was down. I was so pissed lol! Most of my friends are on WoW so it should be fun playing. I've never played a game like this, the closest was a MUDD which is text based game. This should be so much cooler cause I got tired of reading things in a Mud setting lol! Any other WoW fanatics out there? If so what's your characters name and which server are you on? Maybe we can meet up or something!

I want I want I want. That's what it seems like lately lol! I've been in love with bearded dragons for a long time but never considered getting one until recently. I want so many different things and don't know which to get first. I also want chameleons, but will probably wait on that until I can work out a humidity system. But bearded dragons are so cute and they have interesting color morphs. There's too many snakes I want and now lizards. And I can have any that I want. I just need to be patient and decide which to get first. I want to get a color phase B.D. but it's going to cost me around $200-250 for one. I never thought my husband would be okay with me having reptiles but he is. I'm very thankful and he doesn't seem that opposed to me spending $250 on an animal as long as it fits within his criteria (no noise, relatively easy to care for, etc lol). Now that the world of reptile ownership is open to me, I'm overwhelmed. But can you resist this face?

Okay, with the knowledge that I can have a burmese python if I want it, I've been doing heavy research. I've handled full grown burmeses and I can probably get some recent large python handling at my local petstore. They currently have a 19ft Reticulated python there for sale. Beautiful snake. However, I've been trying to get an idea of how much it'll cost me to feed a 14+ ft snake. The petstore can get baby goats and pigs to feed him but baby goats will cost anywhere from $2-4 dollars per lb. I'm just not sure that I really want to have that kind of food bill. So I've decided to hold off on getting the burm for a few years. I'm going back to school soon to finish my degree and aquire a teaching certificate. Once I move into a teachers position (which will be a while since there's no position open yet anyway here) I'll end up making a lot more money than I currently am. So at that time the food bill wont be as much of an issue. But in the meantime I can get other snakes. I have a female Red tail boa and she'll get to be pretty big. So I can always get my big snake fix through her when she's full grown. At the local petstore, there is a dwarf reticulated python. He/she is 7 years old and looks to be around 5 feet long. I think I'm going to start handling it and seeing about it's temperment. The owner says he/she is pretty docile and he's had her/him for 3 years now. Its very active as well and so can be fun to watch. The thing is she's $500 and so it'll be a while before I can get the snake. I doubt it'll sell anytime soon so hopefully I got time. But I'm also interested in getting a ball python! Lol! So I'm not yet sure what I want to do. I want so many of them but I need to win the lottery lol! Hopefully a snake can be on my christmas list this year, whichever it'll be! Lol! I swear I'm going to end up being the crazy snake lady.
