Y'know all those things the people are saying about Cristina being sweet? That's so true! I have a collection of good memories with Cristina - collapsing into piles of clothes giggling about escaping manhood, hanging out together on the playa in the dull heat of the day, dancing in great swoops at labyrinth..

Cristina is tremendously caring, sweet, ethereal & pensive -- and how could i leave her without mentioning how well she articulates herself in her artwork?

Guess what?
Not only is this fine woman an awesome artist, but she is a deeply accepting, brainy and kind lady. I say this as we worked side by side, in the heat of the summer, under great pressure, I have yet to see her get flustered or loose her cool. Finally, she knows the magic of Elf Quest and that makes me all squishy inside! Hey sistah elf!

Random Thoughts

Woke up longing for someone to wake up next to.
Someone to watch as they sleep in the morning filtering through the windows shrouded in scraps of color.
Someone who'll smile at me when they open their eyes.
Touch me and be grateful for the warmth and softness of my body, the curves and swells and scars and stretch marks.
Someone who'll forgive morning breath and bedhead and the pillowcase traces on my cheeks.
Someone who'll treasure these intimate imperfections and honor the opportunity to witness these secret things.
Someone to entwine with, talk softly with, laugh with, breathe with. To slowly rev up languid sleepiness to vibrant passion, then collapse once more into limp-limbed repose.

So...I’m a bit tired, sore, and managed to lose my voice almost completely (luckily not until after the ceremony!), and so so so so absolutely thrilled with how the wedding turned out.

I know it's been awhile since I rapped at ya.

Been busy!
This weekend is the Big Event.
Just made my To Do/To Get/To Bring list and it's mildly alarming.
But I think we're basically on schedule.

Got a bit of a cold, which is slowing me down and which I pray will be gone by Friday night.
Dore got it first, and told me not to kiss him but I didn't listen.
Living in the same house, sleeping in the same bed - if I'm gonna catch it, I'll catch it, kissing or not. And it's much more fun... read more
