Saying goodbye to Italy early this morning I packed up, ate a quick breakfast, rushed to the train station and boarded a train to Milan, planning to spend the night and fly out on EasyJet to Paris the next day. If you havent heard of these guys a...

Rome Day 9
(blog entry)
After waking up late, I needed to get some laundry done so I spent some time doing that, then headed downtown to the shopping area. The Roman fashion district is full of bad ass clothes (such as the real deal Armani suits) and some pretty smoking...

i had a huge crush on jason for most of high school, but he refused to acknowledge it. at the time i thought he was a dumbass because of it, but i think he's a lot smarter than i realized. jason is one of the sweetest, kindest, funniest, best hearted people i know and if we'd ruined it with a teenage romance i would have missed out on one of my favorite friendships. thanks for being stubborn and dense at 16.
oh, and he's a badass funky dancer too.

Jason is no hatah, but he is the playah slayah.

when Will Smith is out they hook him right on up with Jada
Pinkett Smith looking for purpose in the dopest of the dope
I don't need to get cleaned up cause Jason is the soap
When I'm in the shower, dropin', I forego the rope
He is Harry Belafonte, fuckin hairy lychenthrope

Saying goodbye to Italy early this morning I packed up, ate a quick breakfast, rushed to the train station and boarded a train to Milan, planning to spend the night and fly out on EasyJet to Paris the next day. If you havent heard of these guys and you travel in Europe, check them out. EasyJet flew me from Milan to Paris for $50. No shit. That is an unheard of fair as far as I know, I don’t care how short your flight is. They fly all over Europe and really have great rates for no frills ...

After waking up late, I needed to get some laundry done so I spent some time doing that, then headed downtown to the shopping area. The Roman fashion district is full of bad ass clothes (such as the real deal Armani suits) and some pretty smoking hot Italian women. While the clothes were a little too expensive for my budget at the time, it was fun looking. When that got old I walked South and past the ministry of defense and the capital buildin (which has a sweet view of the city skyline i...

At this point in the trip I am really relaxing, and regularly sleeping in till noon. I know is seems a waste since I am in Rome and I should be maximizing my time, but I feel like its justified in order to have a truly relaxing trip. I sleep when I am tired and I wake up when I wake up. My natural rhythm is to go to bed sometime between 2am and 4am and wake up very late - so be it! The only real downside of this is that breakfast buffet was included in my hotel room and I missed it almost...

Rome, Day 7
Arrived in Rome at 9:50 am local time. Took a taxi to the hotel, the Domina Roma, a very nice four star I scored a great last-minute deal on (Im telling you wotif dot com is the place for great deals.) Checked in a spent some time getting settled, showering, washing some clothes, and taking care of some miscellaneous business. Finally was ready to head out around 6pm (the sun doesn’t set until 9pm so there was plenty of time!) There was a free shuttle from the hotel to the ...

Another travel day, this time a real one. Slept in, spent the day packing and arranging my travel. I like to book last minute hotels on this site called www.wotif.com. The site features nice hotels at bargain basement prices. Since you book last minute you get a really good deal, basically they need to fill the room so it doesn’t go wasted and you help to offset some of their losses. Good deal for everyone. I was heading to Rome on a sleeper train and booked a nice hotel, usually 300 Eu...
