thats an attempt at a wild dog greeting, they sound pretty different
from domesticated dogs, look like a skinny german shepard crossed with
a calico cat, and smell a lot more, but i figured the greeting was

so i am departing in less than a week to the other side of the world. yes south africa, hawaii's polar opposite. however i can't imagine it will be entirely different as i will be doing some surfing visiting some permaculture farms and hanging out with some "funky hippies" as my host kai (thank you already) likes to say.
