The above picture represents the birth of my higher self, of harmonizing my earth body with the consciousness of the cosmos, of understanding myself as a solar priestess and as a caretaker of this earth, of bringing heaven to earth.

The celestial bird Itzam Ye is the Maya symbol of expanded consciousness. Itzam Ye flies forth from our consciousness, dispersing light around the world. I activated this archetype within myself as a ceremonial dancer at the temples of Tikal in Guatemala on the Solstice 2006 during a gathering called Activation Maya. “The ceremonies at Activation Maya bring expanded consciousness to life, and awaken the Divine in each one of us, making us all carriers of the light throughout the world, wherever we are.”

By activating the archetype of Itzam Ye into the collective consciousness, I hope to serve as a reminder of the new consciousness we are awakening into, that we may all realize the light within and our higher selves, join together in unity consciousness, and surrender into our higher purpose with absolute trust and faith in the divine unfolding before us.

May we walk the road of awe together as we recreate heaven on earth...
