I think she is rad and crafty and goofy and a smart penpal (when she has time for me!) Ya end up wanting more from her: that's just a testament to her character. It just shines through in whatever she puts her hand to. And the niggle-naggle is that she lives about 1/2 a mile from me and I haven't yet met her in person. Fuuuuuuuuuuck !!

Don't trust her offers to identify your backyard fungi. She will keep them in her refrigerator for weeks and then gleefully tell you in horrible detail how your precious produce slowly deliquesced in the baggie.

Mella seems almost limitless. Everytime I see her I both get to know her better and want to know her better. She is one of those people you find yourself thinking about at odd times.
