Here's what i've watched, so far (in reverse order):
The Journey of Jared Price:
Gay flick. I like the accent of the main character... but given that only 10% (so they say) is gay... i find it hard to believe that he ran into that many gay men. The woman that he was a caregiver to was a pretty bad actress, tho' i believed that she was blind. And the lips of the "older man" ... GUCKA. Decent story, tho', for a gay film. They usually pretty much suck.

Much better story than i anticipated.
I've read some reviews that said that it sucked. I've also read reviews that say that the book is much better.

{finished the second season of nip/tuck.... happy to say that my life is happily boring in comparison... (isn't most tv?) and glad that the show is there to entertain me.}
Born into Brothels.
A documentary about a group of kids who are born in Calcutta... their mothers, of course, are prostitutes. They learn about photography and take pictures in and out of the brothels. The sequences of their "portfolios" are really intriguing. Loved it... tho' depressing.
(why do i find watching and reading depressing stuff so enjoyable?)

I confess that i don't know as much about Che Guevara as i should. And this movie defintely made me want to learn more.

so i fell in love with Rain Phoenix in Stranger Inside. Tough, tattooed, and strong. Not to mention big hips and a bad attitude (my favorite kind of women).
In this movie, she's cute, but a horrible actor.
I like the plot... but overall (except for Uma), the acting SUCKS. The lesbian cowgirls could be so cool, but they're so NOT.... just bad actors. And the thumbs are pretty bad, too.
His Secret Life
I wasn't expecting subtitles. Sometimes, i really like watching foreign films, but i was not in the mood at the time. It was, ennghhh, ok.
