Dreams of Open openmics

Last night we had an OPen mic here on hornby.

Open-mics bewilder me. we come to share and party, and still I step in front of the microphone and feel that feeling of being watched.. like a small jury judging me as someone other than them. I don't like this.. maybe it's just my feelings of self judgment, but audiences are intimidating and altering to a performance sometimes. there are good audiences... but they aren't audiences, they are comrades sharing an experience of now. I'm rarely satisfyied after an open mic... leaving with desires to gather in circle and pull out the strings and sing the song of this moment together, past judgement and other creative inhibitors.
Glen Gould, an amazing pianist deemed audiencs evil and distested them.

I want us all to walk through to the other side of that little door of fear unto the other side where people look deep into your eyes and speak the truth; a place where open mics are opening and absurdly satisfying.

ok, heres some raw thought. leave your judgment behind. discussion would be nice.

wholly intent on praising the yin, I ponder.
I am intent on gathering and celebrating; in honour of the spirit of wemoon.

It seems just that women would like to gather and celebrate together without any men. I honour this but part of me asks why? why is there still this sepereration? why is it that some women deny men? why is it that we heavy one side of the scale because of what has been. Women have been ostrasized beyond belief in many curcumstances.... perhaps because of their strength and beauty. perhaps out of fear of unity and equality some have deemed others inferior. why must we carry the torch of inequality any futher by deeming some superior? are we praising the yin in it's beauty along wiht the yang, or are we raising the yin from the yang in response to something?
well, Im not a woman, but I am a human being, and an integral part of the whole cosmos, and I feel like praising.
I praise equality. I praise oneness. Giving praise to all things as one thing.. beyond judgment I praise. I praise yin. I praise yang. praise to the moon and the sun and the earth and the universe. I praise all. praises everyday.

is this a touchy subject? why?
I'm finding it difficult to submit this blog, but beyond fear and judgment I open my heart.

In the love, I open the discussion.

The sage never has a mind of his own;
He considers the minds of the common people to be his mind.

Treat well those who are good,
Also treat well those who are not good;
     thus goodness is attained.

Be sincere to those who are sincere,
Also be sincere to those who are in sincere;
     thus is sincerity attained.

The sage
    is self-affacing in his dealings with all under heaven,
    and bemuddles his mind for the sake of all under heaven.

The common people al rivet their eyes and ears upon him,
And the sage makes them all chuckle like children.

~Lao Tzu~

I am fond of this quote.
It reminds me of the potential of global intention, starting with our communties. It insires me to lose ego-centricity towards eco-centricity and work with the collective of creative beings... all of us reaching out... holding hands and healing... creating our circle and pulsing our intention.

hanging the sky, she illuminates mastery.
she is piercing the fog moreso than he.

he has not shone the day for many, and she takes the night.
he is here, and she will shine their light

wetness close to that of oceans permeating;
how to discern air form water?
in her fullness she calls; beckoning and bringing belonging;
pulling children of water

I hear something. the belches of sea lions.
no, something else.... it is my breath.

the rtythm...... the feel of breath in my hands.
try breathing through hands to keep warm in the fog.

bright beautiful beginnings bring me beloved breath.
haaaaaaaahhhhhhh.

so many things, to bring about singing! so much life among all our strife.

the playing of the universe amazes me, with its ability to see..... you see. it's me. the whole cosmos is you you and I... I and I, seeking and finding, questiong and answering, forgeting and forseeing and RANTING.... hehe. what a comical stiuation. beautiful.

I love it when I get all worked up and emotional... and I can see myself doing this. Its great, I may see as may percieve me and we all see together as one you see? its not me, your thinking you are, you think you are you , but who are you? will you not see yourself and see as I see or will we all be as one love and let comparison dissipate...
time to drop everything and rant and rave and celebrate... now is here for us to create; create LOVE; create Peace; yeah I'll have a piece of that, toss over some good loving my way sista! I don't knaw a thing but love, love and more good love. maybe I'll go for a bike ride! haha what joy springs from not knowing! from not wasting, not doing. Just being here and ranting

ranting in a tone of love
singing in a shade of beauty
pulsating honest
to the self; the whole
selfless self.

good morning!

A cool morning breeze meanders morning moreover
Stillness hinted with a constant-ever-ebb-lasting-flow. Trees greet the dawn

Rising from the earth, yester-day sun...
A warm eve past lingers in the branchings of light. A sun-ray through the pines.

Swaying is the now- a pendulum-hammock seeking stillness. A seeking infinite.
Flip-flopping from far leaves- treetop roof.

As the breeze mazes many more marvel-us melodies making memories.

Unveil the octaves unseen. Loving you-all

so....

RULES - Once you've been tagged, you have to write a blog with 8 facts/things/habits about yourself, saying who tagged you. In the end you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names and then send them a message so they become tagged.

instantaneous-all-existing- rememberance is full in me- milky euphoric satori and I am free.
all things emptied.. ahh the bliss of emptiness. the calm realization that all is to be unravelled.

One step to feel the breeze from eagles flap; to taste the smell of seaweed rotting. Tree stands listening of the rippling shore.
THe wrinkle on my forehead lays itself out easily- eyelid droopings.
It is the rememberance of the ancestors; the endless vat of where we all attain refreshment. The universe as I awaking to see myself again! THe seeker finds. A pause between games. Rainbow of twilight sky where to find the faeries fooling about- a point of dark and light-land and sea.

On the shores of Hornby the Island sharing calls to eagles overhead sandy toed I write the universes workings through me. Paused before game I step into the cloudy light on the shore.
