I love having my own space that I can ignore or change at my whim. It's a freedom I didn't actually have before I bought my own home. Before that, my environment changed at others whims, and honestly, I usually didn't care enough to protest much beyond the passive level. But now that I control what happens within my walls and when it happens, I am happy in a way that's hard to describe.

In Old Navy, I discovered that women aren't allowed to have socks that go above the ankle, and men are allowed tank tops that go below the waist. As always, the men's clothes fitted my own personal style better, and where much cheaper. I'll probably continue sticking to my internet ways from know on. Victoria's Secret seems to be backing off their mound... read more
