animated fractals

i have been tripping on this most beautiful form of art. i am witnessing one of the most awesome things my senses have ever perceived in an audio video format. it is animated fractal art with fractal music.

www.fractal-recursions.com
scroll all the way down to:
fractal animations gallery
and click on the 1 below those words.
you will get 26 options, some with music, to download. select one and relax, go get something to drink or pee or something because the files are big and it is a very busy site right now and it takes them awhile to download. you can restart them and see the one thats loaded a couple of times if you like. they are really a trip. sit down relax.

blessings, merlin bear

The bear puts both arms around the tree above him
And draws it down as if it were a lover
And its chokecherries Lips to kiss good-by,
Then Lets it snap back upright in the sky.
His next step rocks a boulder on the waLL
(He's making her cross-country in the FaLL).
His great weight creaks the barbed wire in its stapLes
As he FLings over and off down through the mapLes,
Leaving on one wire tooth a Lock of hair.
Such is the uncaged progress of the bear.
The worLd has room to make a bear FeeL Free;
The universe seems cramped to you and me.
Man acts more like the poor bear in a cage,
That all day Fights a nervous inward rage,
His mood rejecting all his mind suggests.
He paces back and Forth and never rests
The me-nail cLick and shuFFle of his Feet,
The teLescope at one end of his beat,
And at the other end the microscope,
Two instruments of nearLy equaL hope,
And in conjunction giving quite a spread.
Or if he rests From scientiFic tread,
'Tis only to sit back and sway his head
Through ninety-odd degrees of arc, it seems,
Between two metaphysicaL extremes.
He sits back on his FundamentaL butt
With Lifted snout and eyes (if any) shut
(He aLmost Looks religious but he's not),
And back and Forth he sways From cheek to cheek,
At one extreme agreeing with one Greek
At the other agreeing with another Greek
Which may be thought, but only so to speak.
A baggy Figure, equaLLy pathetic
When sedentary and when peripatetic.

Anytime I need to bring out my inner 3 year old, I look for Merlin. This is a very useful thing. 3 Year olds know some things that the adults have cast aside as useless, instead of embracing as life affirming.

So go get you some lub!

From Bishop Timothy Price:

Thank You For Being A Friend
( Andrew Gold )

Thank you for being a friend
Traveled down a road and back again
Your heart is true, you're a pal and a confidant

I'm not ashamed to say
I hope it always will stay this way
My hat is off, won't you stand up and take a bow

And if you threw a party
Invited everyone you knew
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say
Thank you for being a friend
Thank you for being a friend
Thank you for being a friend
Thank you for being a friend

If it's a car you lack
I'd surely buy you a Cadillac
Whatever you need any time of the day or night

I'm not ashamed to say
I hope it always will stay this way
My hat is off, won't you stand up and take a bow

And when we both get older
With walking canes and hair of gray
Have no fear even though it's hard to hear
I will stand real close and say
Thank you for being a friend
Thank you for being a friend
Thank you for being a friend
Thank you for being a friend

And when we die
And float away
Into the night
The milky way
You'll hear me call
As we ascend
I'll say your name
Then once again

Thank you for being a friend

I've known Bear aka Merlin to you all (though he will always be Gandalf to me & my friend Matt) for many years. When I first met Bear his old school hippy ways was quite refreshing in a circle of friends who were a tad bit on the fluffy bunny airy fairy new age side. I remember when I first try to get Bear to join Tribe he wasn't in his true old school hippy ways interested in the technology even though he came from a computer background. Since Bear has joined Tribe I have read everything he has written. I watch him blossom into a Tribe savvy posting wizard while still maintaining his old school ways and not compromising who he is. Now thats really refreshing. Bear is a old soul in a modern world that is in bad need of his wisdom. His ability to translate his old school beliefs into a modern content is what makes him such a gem. I am thankful to the Universe for gifting us with the presence of this Merlinus spirit. Many have tried undeserving to take on the title Merlin. Merlin wasn't actually a person. It was a title of respect of the wises of the Druids. Merlin we know from the legends was one of the last. Or was he? Bear is among us which means there is hope for our world casue that means somewhere there is a Arthur waiting out there to be awaken. Maybe thats why Bear is here. To show us we are all Arthur.

it is hard to believe that it has been 6 months since i posted a blog.

i am still here. just sitting on the sidelines for awhile. but my friend sam posted something that really resonated with me. i wanted to invite you to read it. it is at the "people seeking Truth" tribe that i host. i will leave the link here, but i am not sure if it works for non-members. (please tell me if it does not work and i will try to find another way to make it available to you).

visualize a see-saw. the fulcrum is in the center and it is balanced. when something interrupts the balanced state it does a minimal amount of teeter-tottering before it resumes its balanced state.

now visualize the same see-saw with equivalent heavy weights at each end. when something interrupts the balance it sways more radically and for a longer time.

this is a metaphor for our own balance. our balance of yen and yang. our balance of our power. our balance in giving and receivi... read more

that's been my position regarding the idea that i was going to become more stubborn and stuck in my ways when i got older: no way, not me. it was going on when i was 38 and i did not even know it.

i think i was 38 when i first heard phish. i was such a die-hard grateful dead fan and i was making these comparisons that were totally inappropriate. i heard something i liked in phish but it was not grateful dead. jeez, i was stuck and did not acknowledge it.

man, i thought i was stay... read more

a friend asked: "What kind of visions and projects are you developing for conscious evolution?"

wow, what a great question! what could be of greater importance than the focus of our co-creative energies? thank you for the question brudder.

language and religion, among many other words, are rooted in the same origin as logos:
www.etymonline.com/index.php

every creation story i ever heard starts with a word, a sound, or a vibration. much has been revealed about the power of our words. for this reason, as we move closer to the Truth, it affects our languaging; the way we say things.

i have a dear friend on tribe who recently shared (lovingly) with me that sometimes the way i say things... read more

i am a non-religious spiritual being. i am all about ushering in the consciousness shift through vision, interconnectedness with people of all walks of life, and through sharing my original music. I am trying to learn to remain in a state of unconditional love. I am doing this by learning to recognize when I am judging someone. I know this judgement thing is going on when I am unable to see their inner divinity. This only happens if I have judged. If I let go of this judgement they become kind loving people toward me. And I end up letting go of baggage: of the judgement and a fear I was having about myself. It is a process. I find that walking this way takes me down a much easier and happier path.
