UMS Fall Retreat: Deepening the Realization of Self
(events » other)
Sunday, October 14, 2007 - 4:00 PM
50 RSVPs
Breitenbush Hot Springs, Detroit, Oregon
Oct. 14-18, 2007
Check-in begins at 4:00pm on October 14
This four day retreat is for a small group of 22 people only and is a rare opportunity to spend time in close contact with Christine Breese, D.D., Ph.D., founder of University Of Metaphysical Sciences.
This retreat is focused on helping the participant to deepen the experience of enlightenment. Most people who are interested in spirituality have had glimpses of enlightened states of mind, moments of pure awareness, and peak spiritual experiences that come and go. This retreat focuses on finding what does not come and go, the enlightenment that is the constant state of the true self that is beyond the human identity. Rather than going back and forth between enlightened states and sleep states constantly, in these four days of retreat you will find out how to stay aware at all times.
Breitenbush Hot Springs is a wonderful place to be in retreat. You will have full use of all the facilities on the grounds, including wonderful hot springs in beautiful natural settings. There are also yoga classes and such that you are welcome to participate in during open times in the schedule. The schedule of meetings with Christine includes meditations, discussions and group activities beginning on Sunday evening and continuing through Thursday morning. Each day there is a morning meeting, afternoon meeting, and evening meeting. Come and enjoy Breitenbush! It is a beautiful place to be! It is not far from Portland international airport, and it is easy to get to.
