It's now "Starlight Mountain Retreat Center"!!

Isn't that pretty? And since we also publish the Starlight Journal it just fits in so well.

Would you like to be part of this rare opportunity to be part of something special? 25 hours/week includes camping, mostly organic food, lots of fun and like minded company. Our Events

Winter Retreat (events » community) Monday, January 28, 2008 - 1:00 PM Winter Retreat
Out Of Trance & Into Awake, Tucson, Arizona
Winter Retreat Jan 28 - Feb 3 (7 days)
2008 during Tucson Gem/Mineral Show
Cost and Time To Be Announced

This is a weeklong winter retreat in the warmth of Arizona in Tucson from January 25th to February 3rd, 2008. This retreat happens at the same time as the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show, which spans two weeks (last week in Jan and first week of Feb) so that retreat participants will have a chance to attend two wonderful events in one trip! The Tucson Gem and Mineral Show is the largest show of its kind in the United States, so if you want to attain crystals, jewelry, gemstones, and beads all at discounted and wholesale prices, this is your chance!

This retreat assists participants in coming out of the trance induction of being human, deepening the experience of enlightenment, and learning how to stay focused in that awareness on a daily basis. Meetings will be held each morning, afternoon and evening, with one afternoon and evening devoted to a trip to the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show for those who wish to attend and purchase new treasures in crystals, jewelry and gems. Meetings will consist of meditations, discussions, and group activities which enhance one's depth of understanding of the self and enlightenment. The venue where this will be held is To Be Announced (TBA) as we are still researching the best place for this event with housing arrangements that will fit everyone's budget from camping to single rooms with a bath. we try to cater to everyone's budget and rent places that are not too expensive so that participants of all levels of income can attend.
CHRISTINE BREESE @ New Living Expo, San Fran, April 25-27, booth #741 (events » other) Friday, April 25, 2008 - 3:00 PM CHRISTINE BREESE @ New Living Expo, San Fran, April 25-27, booth #741

Christine Breese, Ph.D., founder of University of Metaphysical Sciences (www.umsonline.org), will be at the New living Expo in San Francisco, California on April 25-27, 2008. University Of Metaphysical Sciences can be found in booth #741 in the main hall (close to the food concessions!) and you will meet many like-minded folks who enjoy pursuing the spiritual path and higher consciousness.

If you have always been curious to meet Christine Breese (www.christinebreese.com), this is a great opportunity to meet her in person if you would like to know more about her and University of Metaphysical Sciences. Christine Breese will also be offering a weekend retreat at Harbin Hot Springs on June 13-15, 2008 where participants will dive deeply into exploration of consciousness through meditation and discussion.

Feel free to visit www.christinebreesevideotranscripts.com if you would like to view some of her video satsangs and spiritual talks. Feel free to leave a comment, too!
Awaken Now! University of Metaphysical Sciences' 2nd Annual Summer Retreat (events » community) Friday, June 13, 2008 - 4:00 PM Join Christine Breese and UMS staff for an intensive weekend of meditation, sharing, laughter, and potent deepening of understanding who we are. This retreat will focus on realizing the awakened state of the true self, and deepening this awareness, stabilizing and integrating the habit of remaining focused in awakened consciousness during daily life, aware, and acting from our true nature. Sessions will entail meditation, group activities, and Q & A segments. There will also be a GRADUATION CEREMONY on Saturday evening for those who have finished any degree, Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate, at University Of Metaphysical Sciences.

We will gather at Harbin Hotsprings in Northern California. Here among the redwoods and natural hotsprings, we will be surrounded by beauty, and treated to sumptuous vegetarian cuisine, caring staff, soaks in the rejuvenating tubs, and a joyful coming together of like-minded spiritual family. We will spend our time balanced between diving deep into exploration of consciousness through powerful guided meditations, participating in group activities to open us up even more to surrendering to awareness, and sharing our experiences with each other through discussions and question and answer sessions. You will have time for just relaxing, soaking it all in, enjoying the natural environment, the tubs, the food, and each other. Interspersed will be lots of laughter, play, and fun. On Saturday evening, we will have a graduation ceremony for UMS graduates and a music jam and celebration. If you’re a musician, bring your instruments! On Sunday, you are welcome to stay late enjoying the Harbin Hotsprings grounds and hot tubs; there will be free time after the retreat from 3-10 pm. Come and join us for this annual event, as we explore what it means to be realizing our awakened self at this time on the planet, and how we can support ourselves, each other, and all beings on this blessed journey.

If you have been curious to meet Christine Breese, you do not have to be a student to participate in this event. This is open to all and is not based on UMS courses or curriculum. This is a chance for you to meet her personally and ask questions. Christine’s retreats are separate from UMS and you will get a lot out of retreats with her even if you are not a UMS student.

Harbin Hotsprings offers indoor and outdoor camping to retreat participants. UMS will be offering our retreat in the conference center at Harbin, where we will have exclusive use of the building, which includes 2 private tubs, bathrooms, and a large indoor sleeping space. This room facilitates indoor camping, so you would bring a mat and bedding and share slumber party style with other participants. Alternatively, you could choose outdoor camping, and bring your own tent and bedding.

If you prefer a private room, please contact Harbin Hotsprings as soon as possible to reserve a room in their hotel. These rooms do book several months in advance, so if this is your preference, make sure you call them by March, April at the latest. A second option for a private room is also a hotel about 10 minutes away from Harbin at Middletown called Eagle & Rose Inn, which can be found at www.eagleandroseinn.com. All meals, including snacks and beverages anytime, are included in the price of the retreat, so you do not have to make special arrangements for food. Please note that Harbin public tubs are clothing optional, but the tubs in the conference center will not be clothing optional; tubbers in the conference area must wear suits in consideration for everyone’s comfort. For those who would enjoy the clothing optional tubs, you are welcome to use the other tubs anywhere on the grounds. For more information on Harbin Hotsprings, or to book a room, visit their website at: www.Harbin.org

The cost for this retreat, including all food and camping, is $325.00, with a $30 discount for students of UMS, $295.00. If you are reserving a private room, you must book accommodations through Harbin, and it is only 275.00 for the retreat itself (245.00 for students), which includes all meals. To reserve your space, please send a deposit of $195.00 ($150.00 for students), along with a completed registration form. The rest of the retreat fees will be due two weeks before June 13, 2008.
