My Blog
So I started working on a remix of a Sufjan Stevens song last night, ended up staying up all night writing this new track. For now, I've dropped the SS remix - might do it later. The track is ambient breaks, 140bpm. If Cam is out there, thanks for your suggestions on the last track - they really helped a lot on this one.

So I bought a copy of ableton live about a month ago and have been playing with it non-stop. You can download a track I've worked up called "Closer" at www.last.fm/music/mBlanco . I'll post more stuff there as I get it down. Unless my production skilz get way better, looks like its going to take me about a month to make another one.....

I just finished taking my first class at Euglena here in Eugene and I look forward to taking more. Euglena, run by Alder Fuller Phd, has several night classes available that cover various aspects of complexity science. All the classes are held in a beautifully remodeled warehouse on west side of town. Tuition is on a sliding scale and is very reasonable. The schedule for the next term is below.
