I cannot count the number of times I've been fed, rested, taken care of and not had to worry about whatever my duty was, because he was there taking care of it. He takes care of those who take care of others, and keeps us going well past what we would be able to do by ourselves. Damn good cook. Always got a way to lift spirits. If he's on security, it's secure. If he's in the kitchen, you eat better than the VIPs. Yeah, he's the best fringe benefit to volunteering. I still owe him a beer.

I love the Chef man..
He is deep caring and love rolled into a sweet smile of a man.
He works tirelessly... yep, and is a man of his word... I just wish I lived closer, I think the conversations over a cold beer would be way too delightful..

Graduation Week

Tomorrow is my baby girls last day of High School and Friday is graduation.
I'm not really sure how I feel about this, on one side she has turned out to be a totally amazing young lady, on the other hand, well she's graduating and I'm feeling old...

Everyone I know is against this bailout of Wallstreet, the polls show a large majority of the population are against it, yet our elected officials are going ahead with it.
Aren't they supposed to be representing what we want?

Rode to the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport and from there proceded south stopping at the Sea Lion caves to strech and get some water.
Tomorrow we plan on leaving around 9am and being in Califorina by lunch.
