Monica has helped me at one of the most pivotal moments in my life.
Without her I am not sure I would be where I am today.
She has always been loving and giving, constantly with others on her mind.
I pray many blessings of peace and happiness to her and Jeremy~*
Jeremy is such a prince and he has a wonderful mother to thank for his artistic and kind ways.
I love you Moonica, tender to the sweet gardens.
Your potlucks are the best!

Moonica is a quiet serene light
shining gently through the night.
Suffering manifestations call,
quietly surrendering to the form of ALL.
Earth priestess dancing,
brandishing herb and right duty.
May peace ever enfold
this blessed beauty!

I love you.

Monica is an Artist! With a capital A. She knows what the world should be like, and she is surely creating it through her amazing alters and gardens. I have been inspired by her to plant things, to throw art parties, to cuddle more and to stop and look at subtly beautiful things. She is also a good friend and someone I can count on to be there. Also, she holds goddess energy inside. Much love..!

Monica is my soul sister
November 12, 2004
Monica is one of the purest hearts I have had the pleasure of knowing. Ever since our first meeting, she has been deeply ingrained in my heart and mind. I love being on the dancefloor with her as much as I love just being in her presence. Monica is a strong woman.

The way that she is raising her son is truly inspiring. It has made me re-evaluate my relationships with everyone I know, made me change the way that I talk to people.

about me
I come from a mystic place where there are no words,
speaking through tones, sounds,
written language and symbols,
dance and creativity,
knowing smiles,
gazing into the eyes,
laughing into infinity

I am learning how to verbally communicate on this earthly plane. I am exploring the spiritual realms. A mystic, embracing all faiths, tuning into the common thread running through each. Tunneling down narrow passageways, into the great unknown. I love skipping through the forest, running barefoot through the wet yet warm spring green grass. I plant, and cultivate. I twist and turn and guide. I use my writing to communicate.

Stories from up Above

I gaze out my window up into the cosmos. I live in the clouds. I am in tune with the slow crawling of the white-tinted clouds across the brilliant blue sky. Sometimes, on a cloudy day, the sun is revealed for just a moment, releasing heat and energy upon mother earth. The jolt of sunlight sends tingles through my spine, as a joyous smile appears on my face. It is the first hint of spring and the summer to come. The days become longer, and people start trickling out of their houses after a short winter break to rejoice in the coming of the sun. At night, from my window, the moon speaks to me as she moves across the sky. her stars twinkle brightly as an illuminating Goddess trots across the sky, tossing a golden orb.
"What colour is the sky?" you may ask a young child and expect to hear "blue". I have seen the vibrant purples and pinks as our sun lies to rest, while the moon brings darkened blues and greens into view.

I creep out into the garden, greeting my forgotten friends of the past. You see those there only if you look close enough. Dormant throughout winter, they now start to shine through. Borage, my friend that helps me forget, my friend who helps my mind calm in chaotic times, begins her prolific journey to the earth. You cannot see her if you do not look close enough, there between straw and leaves degrading into the earth. Lemon Balm and St. Johns Wort, my friends in sad times and happy, b... read more

I have gone to the chiropractor for several weeks regarding my back issues (poor posture at this immortal machine and a plow pose gone wrong). Each time, wind and air released from my back, bones aligning up as straight as an arrow, only to build up again like your local housing development on a bare plot of land. Here comes acupuncture, and the beautiful art of cupping. Poked with needles like a voodoo doll in training. A cup is ignited and suctioned onto my back. Laying lifeless upon t... read more

This now the new moon enters the sign of Pisces. Here is what my We'moon has to say about it

'Moon in Pisces makes us aware, sometimes painfully aware, of what we feel: heightening compassion, senses, intuition, and imagination. We can grow intimacy, feel permeable, intuitive, but may have to bench-press boundries. Ugliness of soul or matter hurts, and we may need time away, in the womb of our temple or imagination.' (Heather Roan Robbins, Mother Toungne Ink)

Ironically, the sun is... read more

What is this feeling? One I know all to well, One I know that will pass as winter turns to spring. Illusioned by material energy. Something new is awakening within, something horrid, though something sane. I fight in agony within my heart, torn, but picking up the pieces in a drawn out slumber. Trusting myself and my all natural instincts, to live, to die, to fight. I'm just looking for, looking for a way around. It disappears this near. In this material world, all people become friends, r... read more
