kentucky - you taugh me that true warriors laugh often, that play and work need not be seperate, to show up with my softer self, that love shines truest in our simple actions. pixie faced pie tosser, child mystery keeper, eshu's daughter, my sister, so much love to you, so much thanks for your coyote lessons and your sweet smiles. so much love for the way you hold court for my dark spaces, battling with your laughter, healing with your play, teaching with the deep wisdom of a woman, living with your whole self brilliantly.

Tonight I went to a Laughing Circle with Michelle and Micah. I met some lovely ladies and gentlemen. The beginning of the Circle was an exercise where we all beat on the floor, or clapped, or whistled, or made some noise and then when Lee said "Unify!" everyone made one rhythm together. Then we turned off our minds and spoke in Jibberish for pretty much the rest of the time. I realized that this is the first time I've ever been sick by myself. Usually I would have had My Maman, or a partner caring for me, bringing me soup and cuddling me up in warmth and blankets. But it's just me! How sweet it is to care for myself. I've taken Sepia 6C 2x; Bryonia 30C 1x; Lots of EmergenC and OJ; Baths with Epsom salts; and tonight I drank Sleeptytime Tea Extra to ensure some sleep--of which I have been deprived of.
