Mike values acquiring knowledge and experience, not possessions. He doesn't see the world as revolving around him; he travels through time and space aware of everyone out there. Mike is stimulating and strong in many ways...an amazing man.

Mike's Center for Responsible Nanotechnology achieved an extraordinary amount in 2003, especially considering it is he and Chris Phoenix alone as the main forces behind the nonprofit. What they've accomplished in such short time is something for others to learn from, to help realize what's possible through real effort.
It's a pleasure knowing Mike; knowing someone so hard-working and committed. With that said (!), I would like to ask that he and Chris give more consideration to the need for humane AI's development before nanocomputing's development, because of the excessive dangers of brute-forced AI, which nanocomputing will make more than viable; and that they further consider the strategy, the courses of action, that this extreme risk from nanocomputing calls for. My sincerest wishes, Mike, and the best of fortune to you in 2004.
