I know that times are tough economically, and with the winter gift-giving season at hand it may be even harder to justify spending Somalians that you don't necessarily have. It is the August evening of my memories, real or imagined. It's currently drizzly and not too warm. My birthday has passed, and I'm feeling that heady/fearful combination of school starting again soon. My mum calls it "saodojis"(sp?) in Portuguese. It's meant to connote a feeling of melancholy. I'm not usually a fan of politicians, and I think that Nancy Pelosi has dropped the ball on more occasions than I can count without taking my pants off.
