Well, I am writing at about 4am Friday morning and will be on a plane to Oslo (well, technically Paris first -- long couch-hippie story really) in a few hours.

Simply put, I love Berlin. It ranks highest in all kinds of ways and, for me, is seriously worth considering moving to live in. The shit weather ranks against it I suppose, but so far that is about all I can come up with to complain about.

Well I said my nearly last goodbye's to my wonderful French friends whom I stayed with off and on all summer... What is that cheesy line this is so true -- Parting is such sweet sorrow ? I learned to make soap, to relax, and to ease into who I am. OH man, that was cheesy too! *sigh* Being melancholy doesn't necessarily make for pity writing.
