The study abroad program through school is amazing. Not only do I get credits for classes, but they take care of housing, some food, transportation, and even medical insurance. I'd be attending London University, and living with a family close to school.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and I'm desperate to make it work. Grades are not a problem - you need at least a 2.5 (I'm on the Dean's List), and completed at least 12 units (I've completed close to 90). There's just one other hurdle:

It's going to cost about $7,000.

That's a lot.

The deposit of $500 is due July 1, and the balance is due August 18th.

The airfare that they offer is $825, and includes transfers to and from the London airport. If I could use miles from someone, I might be able to cut that expense down. I've already got about $1500, student loans will help some (but I won't get those until September), there might be a scholarship I can apply for, and I'm probably going to sell a lot of my surplus shite, including a bunch of Disney stuff. But I don't think I can make it without some help.




If I make it, I'm going to let my apartment go (saving me $2000 in rent while I'm gone), get rid of much of the crap I have now, put everything left into storage, and then probably move to SF after I get back. This would become the impetus for a major life and lifestyle change. That's both scary as hell, and really exciting.

So, I'm going to ask for help. From EVERYONE I know. I'm even considering asking my father for help. What I'm going to do is try and raise enough money to go - if, for some reason I don't go or can't go, I'll donate the money to either SCCLA or NCSF, or both.

Some of the tangible things that could help me towards my goal are:

Airline miles that I might be able to use towards a flight (Bay Area to Heathrow - Oct to December )
Anything that might help me save money NOW, like gas or grocery store cards
Money, of course - even a dollar helps!

What I have to sell:

Disney prints, snowglobes, figurines, cells, etc - if I have it and you want it, make an offer!

Copies of any of the movies I have (Disney, mainstream and porn - straight, gay & bdsm)

Much of the surplus crap I have collected in my house over the years - furniture, linens,

Some unused toys - floggers, paddles, canes, etc.

Corsets - including my second pink leather one from Stormy.

Flogging lessons - or any skill I have that others might be interested in learning

Sessions - this is not my first choice in making money, but if there are those who are interested, I will consider it



So, this is my goal for the next few months. Every penny I have, and every penny I get will be going to this goal. I'm considering selling my car, but then there's the problem of what I'll do for transport after I get back. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
