Cherry Hoops is offering 8 weeks of beginner classes this spring!
Calling all beginners! Join me for two separate 4-week course offerings for beginners. Part 1 and Part 2 may be taken in any order. Beginners are welcome in both courses! Special non-marking* hoops will be provided for in-class use.
In Part 1, we begin with hooping around the waist, then progress through a series of dramatic lifts, jumps, and tosses. This series also includes shoulder hooping and angle hooping!

The Castro Theater is hosting a Little Mermaid singalong this weekend. (They play the movie and show the lyrics to all of the songs.) Naturally, my friends and I are dressing up. I'm about 90% done with my Ariel costume, which was whipped together in about 2 days. I only had half of a plan before I started cutting fabric, so I'm pretty pleased with the outcome. Sure, I might have to Duct Tape the shell bra to myself to prevent a wardrobe malfunction, but that's all part of the fun.
