Hello everyone out there in Tribe land.
I'm looking to start growing stuff in my backyard, but am at a lack for what grows in oakland, etc.
Does anyone know a good resource (online, or even a place in the bay area) where I can find some info about what types of plants grow best in the bay area?
I'm specifically looking to grow fruits/vegetables and other edible plants/flowers.
Any help would be fantastic!

I'm gearing up for the playa, I'll be leaving for the dirt around the 15th of August.
I'm braidin' hair again this year.
So if you want braids, dreads, wraps installed..... shoot me a message and let's work something out.
My schedule is WIDE open, and I'm experienced.
You buy the hair, we'll set a flat rate for the installation.... I also work on barter...but I'm kinda broke ;)
So call me up, let's get some good snacks and movies... and put art on your head!

While musing last night I suddenly discovered something about myself.
While I am entirely comfortable, (and perhaps even enjoy) being watched, I dread being looked at.
It has mostly to due with power, and control of the gaze.
Being watched, I can control how much or little someone sees of me... and by very definition, there's a certain distance,whether literal or figurative that I find comforting....hell, I'm a trained stage actor, after all.
