Miss Rosie,
Is a talented performer and hoop instructor, what makes her Hooliehoop workshops different from other workshops is her valuable knowledge of how our physical body and health relates to hooping. This girl knows how to preach the yoga/dance aspects of hooping, you'll leave feeling loose and inspired.

Rosie is a wonderful hooping instructor! Always patient and helpful reminding us that "We Can!". We took the beginning hooping course and we can't wait to take the intermediate course when it becomes available! Rosie's positive attitude and energy made the classes both fun and encouraging. The weekly class was definitely one of the highlights of our week. We're so glad to have met Rosie and hope to see more of her soon!

I have known Rosie for a few years now and she never ceases to amaze me with her kindness, her generosity, her creative mind and her loving presence. I feel lucky to have such a person in my life. Recently I had the privilege to be a part of Miss Rosie's SF Hula Hoop beginner’s workshop. I was ok at hooping, and by that I mean the pump, the basic hoop around the waist. That was it. In just 6 short weeks, the teaching style and persuasiveness of Rosie and her ability to really drill in her "I can" mantra enabled me to become a better hooper than I ever imagined. The class was super fun! I made new friends, got a great workout, even woke up a couple of mornings sore from the previous night's class. It really is an all around great way to get your body in shape, have fun and be a kid again! I strongly recommend this class to anyone looking for an alternative to the gym and looking for a new purpose to working out and feeling great about you. Rosie is one of the greatest people you will meet too!

I am incredibly grateful for what has been my favorite international trip thus far. Japan has held a treasure trove of wonderful experiences for me, rich with laughter, discovery, and generous friendship. Here are a few snapshots and shares from my trip…

Moshi moshi!

I'm loving Japan.  It's been really easy to get around. Knowing some

hoopers here (who have Japanese boyfriends) has definitely contributed

to that ease. I started at the Narita airport, where I forgot my hoops,

and heading via train directly to Chiba. The train station signs are

written in Japanese and English, so navigating is easy, so long as

you're paying attention. I arrived at the Seimei No Mori resort in

Chiba, to a warm welcome of a bunch of Aussies, a few Americans, and a

bunch of Japanese, who mostly spoke at least some English.   We stayed

I've made it to Japan, amazingly almost effortlessly.  Although I'm regretting having packed so much stuff, I was able to easily navigate the train system from Narita Airport through the directions given to me.  I am currently just outside of Chiba, a few hours north of Tokyo. We are at a big resort called Seimei No Mori, where Spin Matsuri is being held. So far I have taught one of my two classes for today. It was well received.

about me
I'm a hoopin' love goddess! I'm happy, and extremely open. Big heart, lots of love. I'm a physical addict...I love being physical in all ways, whether it's hooping, dance, exercise, acrobatics-type stuff, stretching, affection, etc. I love to meditate through yoga practice, and I love creative visualization. I love life. I laugh loud and hard all the time. Sometimes people look. Then I laugh harder.
