Does anyone know where a person can find a pair of men's lounge/yoga-type pants that aren't so lightweight that they are pajamas? Sweatpants are made of a nice, heavier-weight material. But they have those banded/elastic bottoms which are fugly. Yoga pants have a nice, relaxed fit, but are usually made of very lightweight, pajama-like knit jer... read more 
(It was very strange that right after I completed my CPR certification training at work today, I read Dan's blog inviting others to take the course with him. Creepy)

Almost as creepy as the CPR mannequins. Above is a pic of one without its sterilized mouth piece. I am SO glad I took this course. It was very illuminating. For example, I had no idea that when you do CPR on someone, it is likely that you will crack some ribs - necessary to compress the recommended 2 inches deep. Yikes!... read more

And yet, I am still doing pro bono work for three people, including helping a friend out with her wedding dress tonight after jury duty. So SUCK IT, UNIVERSE! You can make me angry and bitchy and surly but you CAN'T stop me from being a nice person! I WIN!!
