about me
My aspirations are either a digital artist, an actor, hopefully, somewhere in the film industry. Till things with my arm are resolved I am in limbo. In what ever spare time, I continue to work towards both. As for work, I have been working as an In Home Services Specialist in Alameda County for a differntly-abled man (What the government classifies as a Sub-Accute; "He needs About as much or more care than an individual in Steven Hawkin's position needs". Translation: 24/7, 365 day care, ALWAYS!! His life depends on it!). He has become a good friend and person that I rely on for strength and wisdom. Any way, despite the pay, I feel I have grown more in this time than any other highly funded period of life. I will continue at eXpression when it is time, for now I continue to grow and learn. Se la vie......

Money Misike, You are a tribe-whore.
July 2, 2005
Though I've barely known him two months, I trust Mike as if I'd known him all my life. The way he treated Megan and me during our first week here from Seattle had a lot to do with our decision to stay. We're very lucky to have him as a friend.

Mike will make you happy, even if you thought that happiness was impossible. He might suggest an activity you normally wouldn't consider, like hiking or going to a concert of someone you've never even heard of, and you might say no out of habit, but if you let him convince you to go, you could end up feeling amazingly improved. (This is hyphothesis; so far I have always said no, but I have a strong feeling that if and when I say yes, I will be much the better for it.)
Mike will take excellent care of you if you're sick--heartsick or physically ill. After he has brought you to a level of contentment you'd thought unattainable, he will continue to ask how you're feeling and will remind you to drink lots of water (because that's just good sense), and have at least a small bite to eat, even if you don't feel like it. Do what he says. Mike will find out what you want out of life, imminently and ultimately, and offer realistic suggestions for achieving these things. He'll help you in truly useful ways, and may even landscape your garden or fix the brakes on your car. Mike shows tremendous concern for the physical and emotional health of not only his friends but everyone around him. I was very surprised to meet Mike, and liked him insantly. I am flattered and honored that he calls me his friend. June 8, 2005
I'm glad Mike came along and took over the job of Pretty Boy, cuz I can't do it anymore. Fortunately he has the bulk of his "legal youth" ahead of him which means he has plenty of time to act young and get away with it. The day he doesn't get carded for smokes or beer is the day we all finally confess that we're a bunch of geezers who probably shouldn't be out 'til 4 in the morning on a work night. But until that day, fuck it, let's party.
Mike is a good guy. June 1, 2005
I've had the privilege of getting to know Mike very well within the past year. He is extremely generous and will do just about anything for his friends. The downside is that he'll sacrifice what's best for him at times, but it makes him happy making his friends happy. It makes me really happy when Mike is super-happy, THEN everyone is smiling and it's like it's raining happiness.
If only we were all a little more like Mike. He deserves all things that are good. He deserves a lot actually. Thank you for being so thoughtful, sincere, and such a good friend, Mike.
