we survived the bees!

Holy fucking cow, what a day! this has certainly been one for the personal history book! BeeGuy showed up about 9am this morning with his wife and went to work. First hole knocked into the drywall, which should have just been an exploratory hole, resulted in honey dripping down the wall. The hive ran from ceiling down about 6 feet and was between two sets of studs (roughly 3 feet wide). The oldest, dried out & moldy parts were probably 2 years old. BeeGuy said this was the worst he has seen in the approx 30 years he's been doing this. Fucking fabu, huh? ROFLMAO They cleaned out the hive, and then blocked up holes (inside & out) so the damned little bees can't get back in.

James has posted some pics, www.slephoto.com/webpost/f...SSSSS.htm, He is still updating & editing them so keep checking back :)

I was freaking out completely the entire time, of course.

After they left, and we ate lunch, and after we cleaned up the honey off the floor... we started working on putting the room back together. James did an excellent job putting up the drywall. I think I might start pimping him out as a handyman :) I laid two boxes of tile, just enough to cover the space the bed takes up. I need to get another two boxes and the floor will be lovely. I'm using a faux stone called "Moroccan".

No one got stung, thankfully. I only fell off the ladder once, and he only got hit in the jaw with the drill once. Only once, I swear! heehee

We've had our showers, ordered in pizza, and finally starting to relax some. I'll probably pop a darvocet in few minutes and get goofy LOL
