is overdue!

feeling a bit dehydrated
and just waking up,
i rubbed my eyes and saw
one beautiful jug of water.

i reached for it
with one hand on either side
of the jug to tilt back and chugg

"what are you doing"
says Noah.
I look up at him mystified
and still a little sleepy

"are you some sort of hick?"
Noah inquires

"well, i'm really more of a jar drinker really"
i say, apolijetically.

Noah then inserts one finger in the little glass loop
and rests the jug swung over on his arm
and drinks eyeing me the whole time.

he hands the jug to me
and waits.
i follow accordingly
to try out my new skill.

well i must say water
really does taste better
out of Noah's jug
when drunk in the appropriate manner.
