It's been forever since logged onto tribe. I started a new job back in Sept. that was supposed to be a 3 day work week kinda gig. I ended up being there 7 days a week / 15 hours a day, gave up my social life and much of my photography. Then at the end of March I was hit by a prostate gone wild, and I've been out of commission since. I'm going through more tests today, and still hoping for the best. OK so I'm excited. It took weeks of research and content writing, a few prototype designs, then a few prototypes for my logo. In between all of that, toss in the most horrific computer crash of the century. Two days before I was ready to launch, it decided it had seen it's last days.
But, thanks to the greatest friend on the planet, I now have a rebuilt machine made for serious graphics work...

loosen their grip
so clutched stones
and earth fall back.
we admire root shapes.
these fallen logs invite.
when bark softens
seeds get up their nerve
and suckle good juice.
the more they nurse
the more such logs relax
become long mounds, or
waves on the forest floor
you can hardly see.
