Jo knows Godzilla.
Holy Crap Bat people, Shot #2 has kicked me upside the haid. I feel totally and completely like 10 pounds of sh%t in a 5 pound bag. If it continues like this it means there will be NO camping trips. Damn. For a YEAR. Rangering will be out of the question. boo hoo hoo. Well, maybe it will get better. I can't imagine getting used to feeling like *this*, but stranger things have happened.

Finally got insurance and drugs and doctors coordinated enough to start this damn thing. The 3 month weekly anticipation of thinking it's going to happen this Thursday and will I feel horrid after has raised absolute havoc with my nervous system. Almost blew the fuse last week, after I finally got the drugs but then learned the Hep C clinic I go to in Sandy Cruz, which is only open on Thursdays, thats ONE bloody day a week, was closed for the Xmas holiday, so had to wait another week, dammit. Although I was somewhat cheered up by the bright red plastic biohazard needle disposal box that came in the mail with the drugs in their adorable little cooler. And the offer of a friend to knit a cozy for it.
gawd, I LOVE my dear sweet wacky friends. All of You!
So I'm sitting here waiting to be horribly sick, or not, to start yakking up, or not, to go insane, or not. Which is silly, but that is the really hard thing...not knowing how it will affect me, and just which ones of all the special side effects may emerge into my reality. Right now, what I feel is:
Very Tired, a little bit headachey, a little bit backachey, and a little wierd all over, and damn happy I have the day off.

After a zillion years of being symptom free my Hep C has finally decided to assert it's rights as a nasty virus and make me feel it's virality (ha! i just made that up). This Thursday, Nov 17 I start the year long interferon treatment to attempt to zap it's ass. Of course I have the genotype that does not respond well to treatment. Do'h!
I am positive It will either Work or it will Not, and I must try. so.
hoo!
we'll see what happens.
