My Testimonials

January 15, 2008
When I first met Margarita, I was intensely jealous and insecure that my then-boyfriend was going to fall in love with her and like her better than me.
Only instead, I fell in love with her and like her better than me ;)
Her energy is open and loving and is the sparkling magic of a new baby. I love when she breaks into delirious, bubbling laughter for no reason that I can tell, except that she feels it..and takes me along with her.
I am blessed beyond measure to have her as a sister.
Thank you for being who you are.

Hummm, just had a wonderful, therapeutic massage session with the Firemonkey, talkative little monkey, interesting poo she slings around. I had to duck quite a few times for fear of the monkey poo catching me upside the head. But, DAMN, I do feel better.

This Miss Kitty is fearless explorer. She is worldy, wild, and adding skillz and passions at a mad rate. But sukkas and dawgs beware, this Kitty has claws, and can blind you with her glow! Yow!!

We are masters co-creating our reality--and it's absolute heaven! It's such a great ride! The best video game ever! The most unpredictable movie--and the recurring characters--are all quite interesting.

Great dialogue, great scenes, spectacular cinamatography, and I have to say, I really do like the lead actress--flawed and human, but doing suprisingly well--what with slowly waking up and recognizing God and whatnot.

spewing life

I'm working as a massage therapist at two different chiropractic offices in Round Rock. It's super fast to get there, too--way faster than attempting to get into Austin; it's faster to go north than south.

It's great to be working again, I have the weekends off, and I'm really enjoying helping people again! Working on patients to relieve their pain feels so much more rewarding than giving a pampering relaxation massage--though I know that the latter can help prevent the former.

I thin... read more

So here are the "rules":
--"Points" are unlimited and abundant
--"Points" are ephemeral may never be tallied
--"Points" may never be deducted
--"Points: may be given freely to whoever deserves them
--"Points" are units of Love

Now go out and give people points! For example, when at a restaurant, along with your tip for excelle... read more

So--3 wks into working at a child development center full of "low-income/resource family" kids, I've decided that while I do enjoy working with pre-schoolers (very difficult, more police-ing than teaching, which is no fun), I certainly don't like working with the after-school children, who, come spring break and summer, I will have ALL DAY LONG.

I'm out sick today, started friday evening, and I think it had something to do with my first experience of having them all day, was supposed to to... read more

I'm an assistant teacher from 9-3 working w/ pre-school kids (3 yr olds, 16 of em), and in the afternoons from 3:00-5:30 I've 14-16 kids ranging in age from 5-11.

The Little Folks Bilingual Learning center is just off of Springdale, about 2.5 miles north of the wherehouse.

I love it! It's incredibly challenging, the time flies by, I'm completely enthralled. The kids are testing me currently, but I feel like a lot of progress was made in my first week; by the end of the month, grav... read more

Though I do have the experience to be grateful for as guidance--without going through a training program that didn't adequately prepare me to teach, I wouldn't have sought out assistant teacher positions at Early Childhood Education centers--which has sent me in another direction.

That--and when I started studying for the bi-lingual supplemental exam, it took away all my motivation to keep going in that direction. I started questioning if teaching truly is my path--and not knowing where I... read more
