"Monkey Do!" is a trademarked Southern California based production company, dedicated to:


Throwing quality desert, club, and warehouse events

Networking with reputable promoters, with similar goals, and ideals

Maintaining a crew of talented DJ's, in various cities

Getting our DJ's booked, and booking talent from other reputable crews

Promoting, performing, and conducting ourselves in a professional manner

Developing a good reputation with the electronic dance music scene all over the United States, and eventually, other countries

Bringing FREE events to the public, with quality music & production, whenever possible
A lot of people ask us how they can be a part of our production in the future. Monkey Do is enthusiastic about getting involved with helpful individuals, decorators, artists, other production crews, and qualified DJ's. We openly encourage different crews to collaborate with each other by pooling together resources, and minimizing the financial burden that comes with throwing a quality event.

However, we only want to get involved with people who are respectful, hard working, and have the best interests of the scene in mind. We won't work with crews that have a habit of handling business in an unprofessional, or shady, manner. This isn't just about money, or looking cool for us…it's about success.

We won't even think about working with you if you have a reputation for the following:

Bad business

Pocketing money at the door

Hiring unprofessional talent

Backing out of responsibility at the last minute

Misinforming the public about the details of your events

Working closely with KNOWN shady promoters

Not cleaning up trash at your events

Promoting to undesirable or problematic people

Stealing, or "blowing up", other peoples locations


We have been around for 15 years, and plan on being around MUCH longer. We won't risk getting involved with people who aren't completely serious about what they are doing, or disrespectful about the way they handle their business relationships.

Now...onto DJ's!

We encourage DJ's that are interested in performing with us, to come out to one of our events. Come show your support, and see what we're all about, before approaching us for a booking.
It gets far too difficult to sift through the hundreds of My Space pages, and booking requests that we get every month. It gets harder, and harder to set line-ups every year. There are SOOO many excellent DJ's out there, and only so many events, or open spots on our line-ups.
Generally, people who show the most enthusiasm, and interest, in our events & crew, will more than likely be considered for bookings over those that don't.

REMEMBER!
It is ALWAYS a good idea to put a name to a face, so we know each other before we do business. We take our reputation VERY seriously, and so should you. Introduce yourself in person, or AT LEAST send us a demo if you want to play…this always works best.
